Final Fantasy II Intro, "Forest Ambush" gameplay

With preparations well underway for Final Fantasy I come its Square Enix launch party this June 26, we'll be taking another looks at its sister game, Final Fantasy II, before it gets primed for its July release. This latest video we've got features the game intro intro, complete with revamped character sprites for Firion, Maria and Guy - FF II's main cast.

Also up for grabs is a Forest Ambush gameplay vid - where frolicking in the woodlands is anything but safe. Enjoy these clips, and make sure to wait up for FFII's June 24 release.

they need to actually remake these games. I want to see something similar to FF3 for DS where they took the game and made it 3d. I'm tired of seeing them pump out the same game with new CGs and a new dungeon.

Except for the FMV's I wouldnt want to see the game, not only is it 2d but the graphics and battle n explore sytem is that of the SNES version, now why remake the game with just adding fmv's? why not slighty improve the graphics?

cool intro.. but the game is crap as its on 2D and reminds me of the 2D zelda games for GBA..
