WEll i tried to run the 1.50 version and bam I got a BSOD
I regret to inform you your psp has just crashed
Ecpetion Details:
Exception - Bus error (data)
EPC - 08905448
Cause - 8000001c
Status - 60008613
BadvAddr -000000000
(to much crap to write with bunch of binary)
The Offending routine may be identified with:
psp-addr2line -e target.elf -f -c 0x8905448 0x0 0x892647c
anyone else get this and if so have an idea how to fix it?
THIS IS FOR 1.5 ONLY, DELETE YOUR OLD INSTALL
Go to PSP3D where they originally posted this file without any statement of a 1.5 problem. Download the 1.5 binary form their server and put it on your 1.5 and run it! It will work!
THERE NEVER WAS A PROBLEM!! I dont even know where these guys got that from! I really wanna know actually.. PSP3D just posted it and it all worked, they didnt state anything about a 1.5 problem, only PSPU said anything about this and only on here have there been comments of confused people who cant play the game...

Your stupid! yes there was a problem! i helped test this game when we finaly got it to debug.. it would say no maps found or whatever.. so he had to rewrite the code. You just full of ***** and have no idea what your talking about~! and if u knew anything about this psp3d took the 1.5 download DOWN. stupid!
http://psp3d.com/homepage-news/8675-super-mario-war-v1-0-firmware-1-5-released.html
look a little bit down and someone on the psp3d.com site also mentioned the same error as i did so stfu noob you have no clue whatcha talking about
There definitely was a problem, if you want to try it, grab the 1.0/2.XX version and KXploit it, then run it on your 1.5. Good luck, smart ass.
I tried to format some of this to make it easier to read.

Thats all mine said.
I'm using Artillary 0.2, and the psp is obviously a 1.5
Heres a hint...
Don't use a shell.
Guys, my super mario wars was giving me the BSOD...so i noticed i renamed the folders in order to hide the corrupted icons, just simply leave the folder name as it is ("smw" and "smw%") that it'll work properly
Great port, but this seriously needs multiplayer support, not too funny playing only vs CPU.
cheers!
online multiplay would be kickass. and sweet. and cool.
does anyone have the whole zip folder all i can download is the *****ing eboot or if thats all i need tell me how to work it
I just like to inform the authors that the app (the first version released - not this one) randomly crashes at start up even on a FW 2.0 using PSPXSet to version 3.0

Ok, 08905448 is the memory address where the exception is being caused and it either trying write to or read from: 681498E44 which is not within user mode memory range. WTF , why does that memory address have 9 characters? should only have 8 on a 32bit CPU.
Random crashes to me but with exact data indicate either two things:
1. More than 1 thread is being used, but at some times, the other thread will try and read or write to something that the other thread may not have initialized yet. but sometimes by the time the thread gets invoked, it may have been initialized.
2. Heap Buffer overflow - On FW1.5 it just happens to have two variables sitting next to each other on the heap. But one of them overflows into the other causing the second buffer to be invalid. But on a different firmware, the two variables may be far apart from each other on the heap, so even though one of the variables overflows, it doesn't overflow into the other variable memory space. (because it is far apart in heap memory)
Ok, i had a look in IDA. Its crashing when you attempt to load this sprite:
gfx/menu/player_select_background.bmp
You pass these arguments:
LoadSprite(0, 1, "gfx/menu/player_select_background.bmp", ....
there was a problem, but it was solved before it was ever posted here, so it didnt need to be posted here like that. SO you can all go shove it u ass*****ks!
it also crashes by me! i have 1.5 with no shell etc. and it doesnt work. i tried 2 differnernt downloads and both it dont work
IT WORKS WHEN YOU DONT RENAME THE FOLDER (SO DONT HIDE THE CORRUPT ICON)!
listen 2 flo, that worked 4 me... c",)
But i wish i could hide it tough, just push it too the bottom of games list...
Mecorrocontuhermana hahahahha
te mamaste con el nick
it works great in my psp 1.5
it´s a great game homebrew
