PSPHere's another quick update for Joek2100's irsmp3 module. We mentioned last time that v0.4 would probably be the final version, but joek2100 decided to add a feature that lets users change the MP3 playback directory and add some custom controls of their own.

According to joek2100, he'll be looking into overclocking for the next release. The developer also says that he plans on fixing the display issues reported by some users "soon, either in the next release or the one after that." One more thing to look forward to for the PSP homebrew community.

This version can be used under 3.02OE-A. If you have comments and suggestions, just give the 'discuss' link below a click. Also, don't forget to check the readme file before installing this.

Update: Joek2100 has once again posted an update for his irsmp3 module. Here's what's new in version 0.4d:
  • Fixed overclocking for speeds > 222MHz
  • Made the 4th level brightness work by pressing the screen button
  • Added an option (see the config file) to allow overclocking and wireless to be used at the same time

 » what the...........???

what does this do??

my psp 3.02 oe-b already plays mp3's thanks
and so did all my other firmware versions..........?

so what?? why?? when???

and you can change the clock speed on oe in the recovery bit

i really wish some of these developers actually developed something interesting for a change

i know, how about making a software tv tuner, that works from some kinda antenna you can connect to the usb or something?? it would be alot more interesting and useful than this wasted effort

You ungrateful turd...you don't even know what the module does, so that means you probably haven't used it and yet you can bash it? ....idiot...

This module enables you to play mp3s whilst playing a game or anywhere in the XMB. The modules functions were clearly stated in the comment above yours, yet it seems that you can't read.

ranting over, this module is amazing!
