I'm pretty sure this already came out, except it was made by Dark_alex and was a lot better.
If it's not broken, don't fix it.
But hey, it's more than I could ever do, so I guess I should stop talking.
think about it this way, competition + good. the more custom firmwares there are, adding new features in recovery etc, the more the next releases of all the other custom firmwares will have to catch up.
Not that this one has anything particularly earth shattering, that could change. and then, who knows, maybe D_A starts using said feature in HIS firmwares.
All im saying is give it time, one of these days something crazy and unexpected will come along, that may not have if there was only one coder working on FW's.
Later.
i agree, some competition would be a good thing for D.A.
maybe it will make him work even harder to make us happy. ^^
although im already happy with what he's done
Bwaahahaa!! "competition + good" you made my day, oh, oh m g.. wow.
the fact that your sn is 'sunami', just frosting on the cake.
i hope u didn't have anything interesting to say, cuz that just blew all chances of me reading ur comment. wow, i
In the screenshot, it says 'Version 1.63 IE A'. So why do Dark_AleX's Firmwares remove the 'Version' bit and just say '3.XX OE-X'? I like having the 'Version' text because it makes the Firmware look more 'official'.
Sorry if I'm being picky. =P

There is HEAPS of other tutorials there as well for you to use. As well as websites that can help you make money.
Bricked my PSP.
Installed 1.62 IE-A....ok
Launched DevHook 0.52.0100.....ok
Emulated 3.11....like a charm
Then Exit from DH, black screen and nothing
X_X
Hold the power switch up until the power shuts off and then turn it back on while holding whatever button for the recovery menu. The recovery menu should kick in and it should go into the 1.62 firmware. It's a known bug with devhook and does nothing but scare the crap out of people.
Tried that, in a different ways.
Still got a brick(((
bricks in this version has already informed me into several. Please not to update! If they want to update to use this new update: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PMI9V6J8
Moderators please, to replace this update by the previous one.
Sweet, but too late for me...+(((
Where's the best place to get UP? I am from Russia xD
i belive you 100%
[insert fu sign here]
No thanks. I like my PS1 emulation, but good luck!

can i revive a full brick?
great work man keep it up!
New Custom Firmware+Old features+Bull*****=Custom Firmware 1.62 IE
Nice Try
Why would I want this when I can just stay on 3.03 OE C?
is it a big chance or risk of bricking the psp with cf 3.03 oe-a? Is it just the same as you update your firmware to any official sony updates?
I like that you can personalize the XMB, look at my designs:
http://www.webdesignerchoice.com/
and this is better than DAX's Custom Firmware how? Not much if it bricks your PSP
dont listen to those retards, good work man
How do I get unbrick my PSP in this firmware?
this worked for me. download the 1.51 eboot. put it in the psp/game/boot. make a new folder called boot and put the 1.51 update in it. then update to 1.51. then I updated TO 2.0 and used the MPH 2.0 downgrader to go back to 1.5
I ran the update, and it said it was completed and that it would auto start in 10 seconds, and screen went black and didn't do anything, and when i restart it it goes to the same black screen, the only thing I can get besides the black screen is the recovery menu when i hold down the R trigger.
does anybody know what just happened?
i need some clear directions on how to unbrick your psp
