woot
lets just clear things up.........
this is just to play official sony converted PS1 games right??? the ones downloaded via PS3 from sony store????
and the PS1 games we converted ourselves, will still work on fw 3.30oeA .......... is this right????
how bout a way to switch disks for games that do not have a save at the end of each disk?
we can run our own games, whilst still having a custom opening, by fooling the GAME_PLUGIN.PRX into reading a different opening plugin to the one we use to boot up the PSP
basically hex edit the eboot game itself and give both the same game id, so they look to the same folder and find the same save
That's probably the ONLY thing I've never done. Is there a youtube video on how to load Playstation 1 games on the PSP? (adding all the images and stuff is just too much). :|
The easiest way is to get on a torrent site, and look for a PSX game that has a "PSXPSP" tag on it. Those are PSX games that have already been converted by other users for and are XMB ready. When you download and unzip, transfer to your psp game folder and just run from the XMB.
I wasn't aware that DAX released POPs for 3.30 OE yet?
He hasn't released the popsloader to load other versions of pops, pops has been built in since 3.00, where have you been?
This interferes with 3.30's pops for some reason, it mentions something about activating your system first, as if you needed a PS3. I would steer clear if you are on 3.30 OE
just like above poster said, this does nothing except display a message saying "please activate your system first" whenever you try to run a psx game when used with 3.30 oe-a.
therefore this is a ueless app
work for 3.10OEA, but not 3.30OEA
"You have been banned by administrator and you will not be able to post comments or submit trackbacks anymore."
WTF DID I DO?
I updated to 3.30 OE and I Can play PSX. ISO . But after updated this POPS Fix I couldn't play PSP ISO or PSX, Even UMD and Homebrew too. Everytime I go to the game and it forzen. Can You tell me how too fix it...??? Thanks Thanks
кто-нибудь скажите по-русски в чем тут суть
Well said!
This version of LOLstation is for 3.10 OE PSP's ONLY. Thats why people are getting that error message on their 3.30 OE PSP's.
So, I flashed something to my PSP that is potentially dangerous due to a falty report by pspupdates? This is going to require a little more than "Sorry" for me to get over it. An uninstaller would be nice.
1) if u have backup original game_plugin.prx, put it in vsh > nodule and overwrite the faulty one. if not, dump official sony 3.30 fw data.psar to get it
2) toggle flash0 in recovery mode, go to vsh > resource and delete "0"pening_plugin.rco.
3) overwrite the opening_plugin.rco with original one.
You r good to go :)
im currently running on the 3.30 OE and it says i need to activate the systems in order for the game to play
Pharonyk updated a compatible 1. It works for me. I'm in 3.30 OE too.
Well overall I think its a great release. I mean. Right now I am running 3.30OE_A. I have a custom boot sound. The "Playstation Portable... PSP" sound. So yeah. I hope that "Pharonyk" Gets the bug's in 3.30OE_A so I can continue playing PSX games on my PSP. I don't play many PSX games but its always nice to know that I can. So yeah. Great release =]
hello, i installed this, but after it flashed the memory, my PSP wouldnt open the games folder, i looked for game_plugin.prx, and opening_plugin.rco to replace the custom files. i found opening_plugin.rco and replaced the custom file with that. now it will enter the games folder, but when i enter a game it just freezes and the psp backround shows.
can anyone give me a link to the game_plugin.prx file or tell me how to get it, thanks
