Exit

So, you've just beaten EXIT. You've managed to out-think your way past the first 70 levels this escape game has to offer, unlocked the next 30, and yeah, you even managed to beat all 100 of the extra downloadable levels featured at the main website. Congratulations.

But before you pat yourself on the back and move on to the more puzzle-intensive Kangaeru Exit, we've got news for you guys who think you've beaten the game's first installment. Famitsu magazine just announced that Taito's made a new tie-up with several institutes over in Japan that carry game programming/design courses.

The deal goes that students in these courses are going to be designing a total of 150 new stages for EXIT, and while we don't know the names of the institutes that'll be covering these custom stages, we've enclosed screen shots of the stages in development, which will be due out this November 24. Exit, stage left.

Brilliant news, I only got this game recently, but it's becoming a better investment by the day, now all we need is a level editor so people can make their own puzzles and share them online! Here's hoping!

best psp game by far. No load times, awesome in short bursts like d games with the use of the psp aalog as well as the dpad, plus 2 and a half d which works great on the psp. This is exactly why homebrew will always suck on the psp, why would anyone choose crappy homebrew games or buy a system like the gp2x which only has homebrew when games like this are avilable?

I agree that EXIT is a great game, but there are also a large number of good homebrew games and an even larger number of great homebrew applications on the PSP, I have and use both UMD games and homebrew games + applications and both Sony software and homebrew software have their good points and bad points. I also know a large number of people who own PSPs that do and don't have the capability to use homebrew, and I have to say the only people that I know that say 'homebrew sucks' are the ones who can't play it because their firmware won't allow it...
Besides, the people who made the games that you love so much started by making 'crappy homebrew games'.

Excellent game, can't wait to see what some up and coming programmers come up with. This should give us a little peek into the future of gaming so to speak.
