what's the point in this when we can install cwcheat and just press select and change the cpu speed to what ever you like (and of course cheating is optional!)
but i want to physically tell DARK ALEX and Company....
STOP modifying 2.71 for a while....
START working on a Downgrade for 2.80 to 2.71 so other users can use this wonderful FW.....
my friend is allways asking to borro/sell my PSP to him cuz hes on 2.80 and cant DG. i want him to stop bugging me..lol
i cant see why people got that update since its only doing the same thing than on 1.5.... with devhook everything works great even at 333mhz.....
no wifi on 333
work on 2.8 damn it
WORK ON 2.8 DownGrader Damnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COME ON....
SERIOUSLY.....
DARK ALEX.... "CAN you hear me now?????"
Dark Alex needs to get with this guy and implement the module NATIVELY in the SE firmware. It will be needed in the next release of SE-C. Right now people with DevHook can already do this without any bull***** of flashing. This multi-module flashing is crap. Make it a natively supported feature of the firmware so that people don't have to flash the firmware and then risk even more by trying to flash modules to do stuff like this. DA, listen to me... find a list of all the nice options that people want (like this) and implement it into your firmware. Have the modules either always on or have on/off support for them in your recovery menu like you do with other things. It would make this ***** a lot easier for people who don't want to mess with module after module and constant flashing of the F0/F1 areas... especially since there's already very little room left in F0 after your SE firmware gets installed. If it's part of the firmware, then there's less risk to all the users out there.
Yes, it really is that easy... just implement it.
One last thing I wanted to add... find a way to build in an option to change the startup/gameboot/monthly backgrounds in F0 area without needing to flash that area. In other words, redirect it (similarly to what DevHook does) to like MS0:SE/F0/*files go here*. It would allow the end user to easily swap these files out just like they do with DevHook. Only trick will be to figure out how to get the "partial" redirection of F0 to happen. Hell, for that matter, why not redirect the whole thing... make a firmware that looks at the MS for the files needed in it's F0/F1 areas. Less stuff to flash to the NAND and practically no bricking possibility.
Hi,
Tip:
Don't ddl IT!
oNLY gta Will work but other games will not even loadup de memorystick Saved files......
AND!
If cpu is at 333mhz Some missions in GTA wont even load!
SO FIX THIS....i'm getting CW Cheat!
how about rather than making new custom fws that sony can easilly just throw in a new feature and show up we simply make 1 fw that will last us forever we alredy know that with dev hook all we can just trick a umd into thinking it is playable on 2.0 so we use the same concept and just take a decrypted 1.5 andgive it some rediculos unreachable number like 9. 8b or somthing and then sony will never be able t compete with it unless they practicly advertize it then we just add on all the coon new featuresand boom we win
Wow, you must be ten years old or veeeery new to the scene. It's not as simple as just making a high version number. There are files, prx's and things that have to be decrypted.
well i know nothing about sorce cone all looking at it does is give me a headache and i was just making an observsion would be heacka cool though you have to admit
seriously... we need a DGer (just from 2.80 - 2.71) ASAP... why not work on bringing everyone to this golden FW then make your modifications, 2.71 SE C... or whatnots... COME ON.... GET US A DOWNGRADER TO 2.71!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
