PAF editor - Image 1 VSH editor - Image 1

QJ.NET reader Mr Razero has pointed us towards a VSH and a PAF editor made by homebrew coder takeshi. This pair of applications that should help those who are into customizing their Sony PlayStation Portables.

The good thing about these apps is that they been updated to work with VSH.prx and PAF.prx files for firmware 3.71. That's actually pretty much the only new thing added to these editors. Also, please note that these are for Windows PCs.

The editors are in Japanese, but they do have an English language option. The downloads below also include readme files, but they're in Japanese so you may have to run them through a web translator. You can also click on the Visit link below to discuss these applications on our PSP Development forums.

In a nutshell, this is to make "better" looking themes. Not only to change icons, but the entire look and feel of the XMB. ^^

Has anyone actually tested this to make sure it works? Last I heard it was a bad idea to write files to flash0 on 3.71m33...

cant you emulate the effect using it as a recovery plugin? just plugin the files to the vsh.txt file.

not sure if it auto disables the other, worth a shot tho :P
