Here be Sony's latest ad campaign in Asian areas. Yes, the ad still uses the like.no.other tag-line at the end of it, but what makes this ad stand out is that it puts a nice emphasis on all things Sony. |

i want more games.
well, sony's definitely taking a more subtle approach to getting their audience. the chick's hot too.
Thats exactly wat they want you to think
WHATEVER YOU DO DONT UPGRADE TO 3.02!!!
or so help me
i thought it was a decent advert. While Sony arent exactly getting the plaudits with the PS3 and the laptop battery issue, they do produce top quality stuff, from there mobile phones to bravia tvs, Digital Cameras to laptops, they have alot of areas that are huge award winners within eletrical retail.
the new sport mp3player loox like a "sexual tool for beginners" on the girl's arm.. :D
If I were sony, I put a Tekken PSP scene in the ad, when Heihachi beats up the Jack-5 robots' army.. :D
btw my Firefox spellchecker always wants to correct sony to stony ^^
well id love to see your idea of a "sexual tool for beginners", because, to me, it looks like a normal mp3 player

if this pic doesn't start your fantasy, then you might be too young, or too frigid.. :D
too bad it don't vibrate :P
LOL
don't tell me your using this player as a sexual toy ..
LOL , JK
nice ad.
I think that's the name for them. Those dancing robots that Sony is workingon. I just remember them being called Queerio by my friends. LOL. Dumb name, but cool toys.
Sony stopped all development of QRIO last year, as well as discontinued AIBO
very stupid!
nonono i seriously like this commercial but i dont like the idea that sony will rule the world in future ..
beforE everyone walks around with those sony laptops and the walk[men]... the batteries will overheat, explode and kill all humans in the world! so YOU... DON'T HELP SONY TO KILL THE WORLD!
Why is the guy not really playing that Loco Roco?
lol! I agree! He is just pressing the X button! haha!
If you dont use sony's products -youre a robot! That's pretty good, but I like the dustballs and squirrels more:P
that commercial kicks ass
You probably must be asking to yourself these questions or thinking one of these after watching that video.
A)What the hell are those robots doing in the background?
Adding drama.
B)What the robots represent are they suppose to be Nintendo or Microsoft Fanbots?.
Believe it or Not.
C)Are those robots powered by the "CELL"?.
Most probably.
D)This must be the most stupid ad i have ever seen ,bring back the dustballs.
Thats not a question you idiot but i agree.
F)So the squirrels where rejected for this?.
Yep.
G)If only they have smashed a NDSL at the end that video turning the robots into humans that would add a little sense to that video.
Again isnt a question but i totally agree.
H)Where The F/uck is the PS3?.
The ad was bad enought.
I)In what universe you can play loco roco by pressing X like a bridering idiot?.
In the same universe where Humans are turned into robots by microsoft and all tv's are from Sony.Yeah it is a really *****ed up universe.
Lol it wouldn't have been credible then
They have got it back to front, its only "robots" (ie people who are dumb enough to buy something based on a corporate image) that buy Sony products, and the whole Sony ethos
and it was NOT in the future.
the ad talked about how we act like robots all day, we go to work, take the train....
they say we should have fun in life, "feel" it. So they say with their gears we're gonna be "alive", and "feel" the world we live in ( like in your world, play in our ).
Anyway, it's a great ad :D
I never thought of it like that lol
its probably not as obvious because the robots actually look pretty advanced and pretty cool in their own right
i liked the part in the end when she puts the earbud on him, and he sort of turns into a bunch of needles before turning human... sort of like that 'tingling' sensation when you start to regain feeling in a numb limb
if this was an ad by Nintendo, everyone would be creaming their pants.
a few things:
1.) this was a good commercial
2.) the commercial wasn't about just video games, but the broad range of Sony products available (ie, PSP, MP3 players, digital cameras, camcorders, TVs, etc)
3.) uh, hello, it's a commercial made by Sony, not a movie. naturally everything in this commercial would be Sony branded. they aren't saying the world will be controlled by Sony, or that you are a Microsoft or Nintendo robot if you don't use Sony products; the commercial isn't about video games or the console war. like i said before, it's about the broad range of products that Sony promotes, and each is "like no other." it's a classy ad. period. if Nintendo or Microsoft had made this, i'd say the same thing. a good advert is a good advert. anyway, why the hell would Sony spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this commercial, then put products by other companies in it? obviously they are going to use their own stuff.
some of you people seriously need to grow up. you've been in internet forums and message boards so much that you can't see the world outside of factions and sides and console battling.
Sony wants your money, sure (they all do), but sometimes, and advert is just an advert. and this happens to be a good one. and a good one by Sony.
Why are people writing essays.. -_-.
nobody wants to read comments longer than the article itself.. jeez.
Hmm robots.... Reminds me of the good old playstation underground cd days.
I actually think this commercial, although it's clearly all about sony, offers a pretty peculiar concept that's adaptable elsewhere: that technology in this day and age somehow contributes to our humanity. i mean, the guy at the end hasn't exactly joined the rank of the consumer and purchased a sony product, the woman is just sharing her technology, i.e. sharing her humanity with him. Chances are the robot will enjoy this so much he'll be inspired to become a consumer, but by the end of it he's simply relishing the feeling of the music-communication. interesting message overall. not sure I agree with it, it's more a question without an answer, but commercials don't tend to offer something like this.
yeah yeah, unnecessarily deep...
HEY! those trains are sydney trains!
so whats your point?
what is the name of the song being played in the background of this commercial???....its a killer song!!!!....sm1 suggest the song!
i am dying to know the name of that song
