Ive been waiting for something like this to play ATRAC3 on Pro Duo's on 1.50 for ages!
Me, and my freind have been waiting for this for so long lol. We searched every search engine for one of these. :P
ATRAC 3 is the format for mini-disc music isn't it? The PSP instruction manual says the PSP can play ATRAC 3 out of the box along with MP3.
I tried to play FLASH.AT3 from GTA:LCS but says in red down the bottom 'Unknown error.' What AT3 files is this actually supposed to play?
I can't even play any songs off my UMD version of Midnight Club 3 and it says someting about a socket error?? All I can say is, I cant wait until there is a new version of this thing, or PSPRadio absorbs this player. For the greater of good fo course ;)
"presumably from game UMDs"
NO you moron.
And for those having trouble playing ATRAC files on your psp, you need to download Sony's SonicStage software to convert/copy to your memory stick
the .AT3 files found in umd's and savegames is NOT the same as the atrac, or atracplus codec.
Its the same "familiy", seeing as sony is the developer.
But this means that the atrac coming out of sonic stage will not be compatible with savegames.
