Two new planes have also been announced by Bandai Namco for Ace Combat X. These are the Gripen C and the Rafale M. The Gripen C is a more stable low-cost plane that has good upkeep. I'm not sure if this is your starter plane or if it will be like the Fregata or the Cariburn. The Gripen is great for reconnaissance and is effective in combat. It is named after the great beast Griffin. The second plane is the Rafale M. It is a well balanced carrier plane, designed to have great stability with it's heavy body. This plane is great for ground attacks. |

Saab Gripens, F-22A Raptors, Mig-29 OVTs and floating air missile launchers? HELL YEAH!
Seriously this is the entire reason I bought a PSP, every Ace Combat since 3 has been incredibly awesome and considerably better each time, the game looks amazing and the camera effects are in to make it look even more fabbo. Woop wooop!
Is it me or does the city torwards the end of the trailer look
like Midgar from FFVII?
wow, it looks nice
i can't wait till it come out
this games has been leaked onto the web...
shouldn't they protect their software better?
What leak?
When is it going to be released?
Love the Typhoon (bottom left), nice model !

I believe this is most likely a super weapon much like Excaliber from AC Zero but at night.
I though the Rafale M was in the last game as well - I'm pretty sure of it. I hope they keep the other planes - F22 and F35 are my favorite, would be nice if they gave F35 VTOL as this is what F35 was meant to do in real life. In any case, a Harrier would be a lovely substitute - but probably not likely to happen... :(
I love Ace Combat, I can't wait!
#1, get a life!
