It looks as if Namco Bandai's The Idolm@ster is getting itself a handheld version. Korean website VideogamerX has some scans showing off a PSP iteration of the game. Find the scans, as well as some new information, after the jump!

Homebrew developer Da Merv dropped by QJ.NET's PSP Development forum to tell us about the new homebrew music browser available for the PlayStation Portable. Moving out of its previous test release version, Basilisk II for the PSP has finally gotten its first official release thanks to the efforts of  homebrew developer J.F. Basilisk II 1.1.0 includes a couple of changes to its non-platform specific code and makes its official debut in the homebrew community. More details in our full article.

There's a new version for Gefa's much appreciated homebrew app, PaintMIXER, and it's now up to v2.2.0. Several new features have been added, but we think the biggest relief would be the new program's language change option for those non-Italian. Checking out what else is up at the full article.
