Ó

ridgeracer2Okay, we admit we cannot believe that we overlooked this, but oh.my.god, this is just so unfair.

We have just heard news about the PSP games now up for grabs at Amazon UK's site, where on earth do they get their goodies?! While we here at US can only pre-order games, the fellas at UK only have to wait one, two weeks max, to get games that we'd have to wait longer for. *pouts*

Some of these games include Dynasty Warriors Vol.2, Myst, FIFA 07, and the much coveted for Ridge Racer 2 and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. And that's just to name a few! AND, they're being sold at discounted prices too! You can even have a guaranteed delivery of Ridge Racer 2 by October 17th. Man oh man. Lucky UK fellas can get their games now while we have to wait for a couple more weeks.

And, take note, some of these games are not for pre-ordering, you can actually get them as soon as the shipping process permits! Head on to the Amazon UK site by clicking on the link below, and feel free to rant (or cry) at the comments section. Sigh.

Bought Ridge Racer 2 in Chips in Hereford yesterday. It's the UK version. Not to mention Fifa 07 has been out for about a month...

I downloaded RR2 about two days ago. Pretty cool game, though the announcer can be a little annoying at times "I didn't know that was possible!!" Yeah, nobody drifts.

As far as foreign orders and stuff goes, it's always like that. Places always get cool games that the US never does. I think every game made in the US goes elsewhere, but many imports never make it here. I guess they aren't american enough for us. Lame.

I've been waiting on DJ Max Portable to come over here for a year but I doubt it ever will. Had to download that three days ago. Awesome game. Wish they'd realize that americans love a lot of genres they think we don't.

What the hell are you moaning about in the US, you almost ALWAYS get all the releases MONTHS before us in Europe! ... Usually its released in Japan > US > then if its popular in the US, Europe.

Classic examples - Front Mission 4 (PS2), Kingdom hearts, Final fantasy Xii, (oh all square games lol), Katamary Damacy (grr!), and most console systems!

- this is just a great show of the guys in the US not having a clue about anyone in Europe.... or knowing that any other country exists!

PS- Ridge racer 2 is like 1,,.,... no difference! (or very little!)

 » Ridge Racer 2...

Which plays very much like RR1 and the starting cars are the same in World Tour... for a period I couldn't tell I was playing 2 instead of 1... I am a bit disappointed but I am sure there are enough difference to keep the true fans happy. I only like the opening movie. So much for the demo drive...

 » your right

I played it and was not impressed at all, it's like having two RR1 games save your self some cash and save it for GT4 mobil if it'll ever make it to the PSP

 » RR2- whats more is

The handling is exactly the same, the powerslides mysteriously guide you around a corner even though you're sliding the opposite way!! honest! - try it for yourself (also in RR1!)

» Now ya know how it feels

Well, all I can say, is at least you know how we UKers feel. It isn't very often that we get games out here before the US, and considering the price we pay for most games, they need to be on discount. I saw one game released in the US $30, when it was released here, was £30, and considering £30 is approx $60, we need to get discount now n then to make up for it. Waiting a few extra weeks is very lucky actually. Ape Escape, I purchased on ebay in August 05, the US version, before the PSP was even released here, and the game didn't acutally come out till about 6 months later, same with Death Jr. Been playin the US version since like Oct 05, but was released in UK in Feb 06 :(

And what about GTA:LCS, it came out in the US first, and GTA:VCS, will be released in the US before its released here as well, and we'll probably be paying more for it here than there as well.

Its about time we got a game before the US!
