Ever wonder what all those puzzles on the Island of Rhodes site kept? Well, it was something very important, especially to Kratos and God of War fans. It's the teaser trailer for the upcoming PSP game God of War Chains of Olympus. |

let me say 1st post! This was @#@$@ing awesome!
****ing awesome!!
:D
Looks very nice!
Wow, I can't believe that's a PSP game. Hopefully they can nail the controls and it will be superb.
If you look at the HUD, you'll see that there aren't any magic abilities. It seems gameplay will be focused on the Blades of Chaos combat. That alone simplifies the controls A LOT.
for the guy whos bored, there is a blue bar in the hud that signifies magic energy; there will be some form of magic in the game.
NO MAGIC??
This game is going to suck!
I mean its still God of War so it wont get less than a 9.0, but still!
Yes, because we all play God of War for the magic attacks, not the stylized god-like ownage with the Blades of Chaos. :P
I hope this runs on OE firmwares. I really would hate to wait for the release and then have to wait for someone to hack a new firmware while the umd sits and stares at me. That happened to me when Socom came out and it was like 3 months before I could play it.
Brilliant trailer. BRILLIANT!
to still keep my PSP
SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!
As Peter Griffin says, "FREAKIN SWEET!"
This one will be a reason to own a PSP, Right?
All I can say is wow. Don't get me wrong, I don't buy many UMDs, but I will sure as Hell buy God of War, Silent Hill, and Final Fantasy Core Crisis without a doubt. They all look absolutely amazing. The PSP is really going to stand out more now with these titles. I mean how many people do you know that bought a certain system for a certain game? You know someone without a PSP is at home considering buying one.

Yes, but also look at the sword, it has health, MANA, and a red bar. So there is a way to do magic. They just reworked it.
Isn't it about the time somebody dumps a demo disc and leaks it online? Not all of us are in the US or Canada, and thus, not all of us can get a free demo UMD. It is a free distribution of a demonstration, so I believe its perfectly legal to dump it and digitally distribute the content online.
Someone get to work gosh darnit! And rawr! One of many reasons to keep my own psp is this!
Its shipping with a second analog nub!! (jk jk) as you can see in the video, he rolls... on the PS2, the rolling was done with the right analog stick. This part of the game has had a lot of debate with the fans, so the fact that they show him rolling, ends the rumors and speculations of "how is he gonna roll without a second analog stick!?".
I can't wait to play GoW on PSP! This looks effing sweeet!
I sad, how come there's no UMD promo for Europe!! Bast*rds always screws us around.
reminds me of ghost rider
BUT LOOKS *****ING AWESOME ANYWAY
I just pooped my pants, and then creamed my jeans, and I enjoyed every second of it. Kratos you are my god.
haha... and my friend is hoping this would be on ps2...
can't for... "THE DEMO"
XD... they better, I mean better make the game last very long because Daxter let me down (yo!!!)
I just busted a nut without touching myself after this clip
n00b
a guy in us posted on youtube a video against the king and untill this is removed we cannot access to youtube...
Holy *****, this game is going to kick major ass, I'm sure as hell buying this game.
woa
How do you roll without a right analog stick you ask? It's pretty easy. Just making normal movement be controlled by the nub, and roll movement be controlled by holding R + nub. There's such a thing called button combinations you know... before controllers had 12 buttons, you could get by with 2 buttons, start, select, and a control pad. Seriously, you guys have no imagination if you think a good game developer can't work around having one analog stick. In the end, it doesn't matter the number of buttons you have, it's how you use them. Just like your *****, it doesn't matter the size, it's how you use it. You could have a 12 inch one that sits at home and does nothing but get masterbated if you suck at using it. ;)
hahahah...
what's the d-pad used for on ps2? you can have analogue movement and digital roll... you don't really need 2 analogues. (though it might be nice)
i think for roll it will be like a double click or push analog two times rapidly and kratos will roll for magic it will use down arrow and for rage it will use right arrow so controls which everyone will like will be
movement + analog
roll + double push to analog
box,x,triangle,o,r and l buttons will be used same as god of war ps2
never played the ps2 versions, but ill be sure to try this one out.
finally, a game to moan over :D
