If you want more action from the R-Type series, then you'd be happy to know that Atlus has just announced that R-Type Tactics is making its way to North America as R-Type Command. Better prepare yourselves for some Bydo-blasting fun.

One of the game's features is that players will have the opportunity to control the Bydo forces for the first time ever. Another is that gamers will have to utilize almost 100 different units when engaging in battles in space. Also, the game will have head-to-head local multiplayer, enabling players to duel with their friends.

For those interested in grabbing a copy of the game, do note that it will be priced at US$ 39.99 and will be released on May 6, 2008. Be sure to check back on our site as we'll be bringing in more news on this upcoming game.
