Homebrew Developer Art has come out with a new version of Audio Mechanica, the digital audio recorder for the PSP. This latest version is a recompilation of the previous version which let the program run at a lower clock speed at 133/133/1 to save on battery power.

Here are notes from Art from his forum post and the changelog for the application for Audio Mechanica v6e:
  • Recompiled with the PSP clock still running 133/133/1.
  • This one has Mikmod left in it.
  • Hopefully works on the later firmwares.
Note that the program currently only works for PSP Phats. Please go through the readme for more details and program operation instructions.
