Nintendo's Mario franchise is everywhere, and dozens of tributes to what can be considered as the turning point in gaming history are popping up like goombas all over the place. Mario Kart PSP by homebrew developer Dark_Momo is no exception.

Similar to another homebrew release, Super Mario Smash Kart, Mario Kart PSP is pretty much a simple yet fun diversion, a vertical racing game where the goal is to cross the finish line without bumping into any of the monsters littered across the track. For your reference, here's a list of the game's features:

Dark_Momo would also like to note that the game is tagged as version 1.0 in the XMB, but is actually in its version 2.0 release, so don't be alarmed and think that you've downloaded the previous version.
