Loving the black XMB.
Looks mint.
what is it in this awesome theme that always kills the ps1 games from loading up. I had it loading games earlier today and now they don't. I aint mad or anything I have recovery folder in there all the time so I can go back to default 3.03oe-c anytime I want but still, the guy who made this needs to test this out
I am missing the icons for save data utility and psp update ver x.xx both in the game section of the XMB
I am also missing, under network section location free icon and internet browser icon
just bringing it to your attention
some language support inside cuz we have no "Oui" and "Non" (yes,no in french) for example in the confirmation screen.
Btw great work !!
In german there is no "JA" and "NEIN" too.
spanish
si - yes
and...erm
no + no
I sooo want this but I'm on 3.10 OE-A' lol I hope they make it compatible =P
As somebody said: I love this but the ps1 emulation is not working after this mod!
True, my not working right, it wont load psx games
WTF it say my flash is full:(
on a fresh upgraded psp:(
love this mod and i would it to work:(
Use FlashAgentF4 to clear out the uneeded font files.. u should have avout 2.5mb of space free'd up
its useless files its dummying anyhow so u DO need it back! FREE THE FOCKER!!
when he changed the opening_plugin.rco he forgot that thats wut makes the ps1 games strt up. to get the bootwave u wanted the ps1 emu had to leave...that was too big of a sacrafice for me. so i jus used the default one from sony but the letters PSP TM logo is gone. please fix these problems!
The missing PSP%u2122 thing is intentional. It's called "Debranding" the Gameboot.
To get the Ps1 games to work, me need to get rid of the gameboot logo. What I am saying is that it runs homebrew games, and thats it. Whats stopping it from running psx games is the logo. Is there a way to get rid of it?
I want this to be able to be on 3.10OE! This is pissing me off!
a modified opening_plugin.rco is what screws with popstation, although i don't know if its modified here.
anytime i've changed my opening_plugin.rco it's disabled my pops... it's too bad, cause i hate that stupid sony opening sound!! so i disabled it. ^_^
anyone got the gameboot to work?
I downgraded to 3.03 OE-C to get that theme and it was worth! The downgrade itself is soo easy - put data.dxar and eboot.pbp to pspgamerecovery and run it under recovery menu - that is all about the downgade. After 3 minutes i had my ol' 3.03 OE-C. The USB flash0 toggle is cool feature and if i brick my psp i can recover it within minutes, now modding psp is safe if you are on OE firmware.
Theme itself is very slick and vista look but hey vista does look good doesn't it ?
Jesus Christ... okay, I keep forgetting to put these things in the readme.
EVERY THEME REGARDING A MODDED OPENING_PLUGIN.RCO WILL DISABLE PSX GAMES. DO NOT INSTALL THE OPENING_PLUGIN.RCO UNLESS YOU DO NOT WANT OR NEED PSX GAMES.
Note that I said EVERY THEME REGARDING A MODDED OPENING_PLUGIN.RCO. Yes, EVERY theme. Brand that into your head for future releases.
AND NO, THE GAMEBOOT IS ILLEGAL TO DISTRIBUTE AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE.
that did it, I put my backed up OPENING_PLUGIN.RCO and ps1 emulation is working again
I have the black theme and the only thing that i lost was my boot saying PSP when i load a game. Other than that i love it
You have to BACK UP all YOU DATA before performing any changes!!!! BACK UP!! Is it hard to remember ? I backed up all resource folder to make sure everything can be recovered - anything you do to your data - any data back it up!!
if you dont want to update to 3 oe or w.e they have now all you have to do is put the files in the dh folder an then vsh then resource just like a custom firmware cause im running 2.71 still and when i want to check out the Black32 XMB Theme - encore 3 all i do is use the dev hook and emulate 302 and BAM with out the risk of bricking or psp this is for those user that dont want to update cause they dont know how like me
im on 3.10oe-a and i was wondering if u can use the newest devhook on 3.10 to emulate 3.03? in order to use this black theme XMB?
You have got to be the biggest loser on the plantet. STFU and downgrade.
**********************************
im trying to over-write some of the larger files like the system_plugin.rco for the sound, but it says i dont have enough room on my memory.. but i have about 230 mb available. can someone explain to me how this is..? thanks! **********************************
you have 230 mb on your memory card. not your flash, which is what your installing it on. use flashagent f4 to free up 2.5 mb
You are on flash0 space and it has total capacity of 23 MB, i had similar issues and it means you can't load all custom menus or sounds at one time. You have to decide or adjust which custom part will be better and what you don't need. Unless you are doing it like adam said by using devhook.
use flash agent F4 to free up about 2.5 MB of flash0 space. All it does is delete some dummy files the PSP doesn't need.
any chance of someone showing this off on youtube? or something?
Did this person find a way to change the infowindow and font?
Works 100 %!!
U just dont understand english, so u dont get it how to install this?
why I have a white wallpaper??
the included 01-12.bmp doesn't run..
i've 3.03OE-C
i have the same prob
Go to 'themes' in PSP Settings and set the theme to default. All the rest are white.
im on 3.10oe-a and i was wondering if u can use the newest devhook on 3.10 to emulate 3.03? in order to use this black theme XMB?

doe's it work on 3.10 OE-A'??
No, Downgrade back down to 3.03 OE-C
Read: "This will work on all OE firmwares, EXCEPT 3.10 OE."
