One of our readers Everett Bradford sent us a note about the new PSP mod that he came up with. Some of you may recognize him as the guy responsible for the push-activated shoulder lighting mod. This new one still includes the first trick, and Everett decided to include some cool new features as well.

The video below will show you that the power indicator, the WiFi indicator, and the memory stick indicator were all changed to blue. (Now we know what Everett's favorite color is.) Here's the short clip and after that, the Read link will take you to Everett's site for more information.

Blue leds are so GHEY and PASSE by now. so 2005. Orange is the new blue my friend. so if I were you, I'd get back at it.

You know what else is Passe? Uneducated retards. So If I were you, I'd pick up a book, or work on getting that GED, instead of commenting on the color of a LED.

Who cares what's Passe and what's not. I wouldn't think about not buying my favourite color mod because it's Passe.

I've got three words for you, soopergooman:

DEE DEE DEE!!!

Besides, red is better than both.

I done this long before you ever did. It looks better than mine, I like it and the triggers were tight as ****. Anyway I did mine with stuff from around the house. Took some blue clear plasic and stuffed it up next to the light. Vela colored lights....

"You know what else is Passe? Uneducated retards. So If I were you, I'd pick up a book, or work on getting that GED, instead of commenting on the color of a LED."

Well take a look in the mirror boy, because your grammer is horrible.
For your info, I just started an Electronics Engineering course, so get bent!
Blue leds ARE ghey, they always were and always will be (everything has blue leds in it nowadays, nothing special anymore). The unregistered commenter is also ghey and boring. Go take a long walk off a short pier.

I'm entiltled to my opinion, if you were any kind of intelligent person, you would respect that, alas you are not. Go crawl back into your unregistered hole. Nobody wants to listen to your drivel. You are a fat slob who sits here waiting to rag on other peoples posts. BLUE LEDS ARE GHEY! Get some skills okay. My 13 year old nephew has had this done since 2005. He has since changed his leds to ORANGE. I will post my opinion no matter what. For it is mine, you quiffbag. Name calling well thats just plain imature. You might then say well, you're name calling. But I had to stoop to your level just so that you could understand .
Get a life.

   Re: Sayenthy (Unregistered) - 2007-03-01
 » indeed.

Yes, you have every right to criticize other peoples' grammar, seeing as you are the epitome of sophistication, with such witty comments like "GHEY," soopergooman. What an intellectually stimulating name.

Finding a simple disk-switching firmware trick in GTA: VCS does not give you carte-blanche to insult a person's taste, or, with usage of words like "ghey," especially their grammar.

   Re: Observer (Unregistered) - 2007-03-02
 » LOLZ!

SOOPERGOOMAN.
You are 100% if not more than that a HOMO.
Elect. Engenr... OOOhhhhh! you the man now huh. *****e, I cant believe you were dumb enough to say you JUST started it. Just prove what NEWBIE you really are.
ORANGE is probabyly nice for ppl like you. But gimme blue ANYDAY instead of your orange.

This mod is SWEETASS. I sure hope they come up with a Tuto soon. *I cant wait to try those ledded shoulder buttons. I've seem em bofore but man. everytime I see it makes me want to do it to my unit.

Nice work Ryan A.!

PS: soopergooman is a homo! Go stick your BELOVED orange leds to where they belong...
Your the "quiffbag" that has no life but insult down to the smallest detail.
Go tell your nephey to put some 'orange'
led lights to your 'soon to be' elect. engenr.
cert. you NEWB!

And yes, you are entitled to your opinion. NO ONE EVER said other wise. But putting such retarted post like urs isnt welcome.
Go change your christmas tree lights to all orange instead of spoofing of some geeberish you homo! (that should get you all exited... challenging enough for such an individual like you and GO AWAY for a good long while...)

ROFLMAO...

PPS: Nice work!

   Re: new-bee_101 (Unregistered) - 2007-03-02
 » qurious...

where's the 'skill' in changing blue led lights to orange ones soopergooman?
When did it become skillful to being able to pick which colour led lights should go on?
Also notice on how you seriously mock the smallest thing. There are thousands of readers that posts on unregistered users. I dont see the point your trying to say, better yet your insults are quite weak considering 'your impressive status'
you say things that are either said already on other topics or just plain obvious.
Its dumb egoistic people like you that dig your own grave and jump on it that gives this site it's unpleasent side.

And before you reply something that would be obvious and small. There is nothing you have to say that would convince others what you believe. specially when it comes to led lights. such topic is just so stupid and what you say 'boring'

for you perhaps, your whole life is probably as plain and boring as you make it sound like.
I sure for one is very happy that these kind of modifications are being done and shared.
It makes other people out there with taste something to do and enhance for the sake of sony's lack of design.
*no offence sony...
But Im just sick of plain old same old gadgets you see out there. And some people (like ahem...) are quite content, but I at least know that theres other peoples out there that gets my dilema and actually done something to remedy that.

*a huge HUG to the maker*

ghey is a term brought about on the internet to show that something is stupid and so as not to offend the homosexual community. look it up on wiki. if you had half a clue about netspeak you would understand, No0B!

whats so special about this mod? its extremely simple to do.

i modded a lot of my things ti chnage the LED colour (lol and yes i too changed them to blue). for example, my ps2 memory cards all have a blue LED as opposed to the original red.

LOLZ, good work. Now stop showing off cause it's time for a tutorial!
I see MANY keen peoples that would be interested at doing these same mods. (different coulour maybe in some case, but same principals.)

guys, is it just me or did you also see that the music waves have gone different??!?!

what fw is he on!?! or is it a mod?!?!!

   Re: Big_Bam_Bam_Boo (Unregistered) - 2007-03-02
 » Hmm...

I dont think so... It just depends on the music your playing. The waves becomes likes spikes but still, it always reverts back to wavy waves again.

But I know a friend that have edited ones. He was kind enough to gimme one but just one.
Also, I would love to share it but he INSIST on NO publication. so I have no choice but to grant him that wish. Lets just hope he or others that knows the how-to's share this to the public ay.

*cheers

btw, the mod i was given was the two dots that goes on random paths but bigger, faster and at times stops and change sizes randomy. I also had the wave one like above but sharp points all the time and when idle it's zig-zaged and changes width size and colour randomly.

Very cool/new module. I'll speak to him soon and try to convince him to enter that www.psp-hacks.com competition on homebrew. I reccon his one would be WICKED good and have a good potential to win something. (1st IMHO, considering he can manipulate it as we simply manipulate XMB waves.)

 » *UPDATE*

As I suspected...
I knew somewhing has got to be wrong with user "supergooman" but never would've guessed that he was a pot head.
Well recently he has 'contributed' to the scene and released his very own "pot XMB theme".
When I fist noticed this I was already iffy that such theme would be an interest to anyone, yet I have no quarells with weed. I myself have experienced its AWSOME effects back in the good old days.
But unlike others, I came to the conclusions that this will bring more hard than good.
Enough about me...
My point is, I've concluded that through out supergooman's out bursts/idiotic remarks and such. This guy was either high, bad weed or simply hangin' out for weed.
Never the less, I guess the comments "what have you released?" has got to him and realised that theres more pros to gain rather than dishing negative comments to those whom is ONLY trying to bright your day with a lil something.
So here's my 2 cents to supergooman.
Congrats to the recent addition to the scene and hope NOT to see any more smartarse comments or alike in the near future.

Regards,
Anonymous_349
