Bomberman Land goes gold, shipping to the US this month

With the increased demand for mini-games, it doesn't come as a surprise that the classic favorite Bomberman is back in Bomberman Land. The game has already gone gold and is ready to ship on January 29 for the PSP, Nintendo Wii and DS.

The game is essentially a collection of mini-games with both single and multiplayer modes. It's a little weird perhaps that Bomberman doesn't get to blow up bombs as much but nevertheless, the trailers look pretty fun.

The multiplayer mode supports up to 4 players. The PSP and Wii versions feature 50 minigames while the DS version, which is actually the follow-up to 2006's Bomberman Land Touch, has 40. All three versions will retail for US$ 29.99.
