Can't wait to convert your latest batch of shows unto your PSP? We're letting you guys know that developer Winnydows has just released an updated version of XviD4PSP 5.029.

This PC-based app, in case you're asking, will enable you to convert most of the more common video files out there into a format compatible with your PSP, and your other mobile devices

Version 5.029 Final's updated release sports several new fixes, including one for the crashes that occurred when certain files are opened. Quoting Winnydows' readme for both 5.029  final and its recent updates:

• Fixed a lot of old bugs.
• Accelerated import files through FFmpegSource.
• Added forced decoding import. Helps a problem decode files, such as DVR-MS.
• Updated components: x264, ffmpeg, mp4box, xvidcore.
• Fixed import 59.94 fps files.
• Fixed Decimating work for the files differ from 29.97 fps.
• Sound options merged to new free box. Soon all options will be here.
• For MPEG2 formats added CBR encoding profile.
• Intellectual TextControl replaced to more usefull WPF Custom NumericUpDown.
• Changed logic work with audio.
• Added audio channels control. Now you can DownMix and UpMix with many different variations.
• Now you can specify external audio files.
• Added volume detection accuracy.
• Added bassAudioSource decoder - you can now specify external tracks in formats: MP3/MP2/MP1/OGG/WAV/AIFF/WMA/FLAC/WavPack/Speex/Musepack / AAC/M4A/APE/MO3/IT/ XM/S3M/MTM/MOD/UMX/CDA.
• Updated design for XviD4PSP and WPF Player.
• To framerate list added 50.00, 59.94, 60.00, 120 fps.
• Added tsMuxeR tool. For manual M2TS muxing, later will be added M2TS out format.
• Enhanced FFRebuilder feautures. Now this tool possible use for audio demuxing.
• Now AVI format support x264 encoding.
• To File menu added Save frame function - save frame from preview to JPG or PNG.
• Added FractalDenoising LS MT filter.
• Now XviD codec encode to correct size. Thanks to zubik.
• Added MP4 Toshiba G900 format.
• To WPF Player added previous second and next second button.
