Here's something you definitely would want to pay attention to. This video interview with Sam Thomson, producer of Resistance: Retribution, at at the CES 09, explains all the juicy details on connecting the PSP game to Resistance 2 on the PS3.

It runs for a good four minutes, delving on the path the storyline takes as well as how to "infect" your PSP. Apparently, hooking up your PSP Resistance with the PS3 Resistance "infects" James Grayson, the lead character, with the Chimera virus. Apart from the virus, he also gets a new uniform and new intel which you can collect, access to new areas, new weapons and more.

Even more interesting is how the dynamics of the other characters in the story develop. Once Grayson is infected with the virus, the treatment, the dialogue of the other characters become different as well, obviously because they don't trust him as much given his infection.

If you want, you can also play Retribution plus using the PS3's dual-shock. Just hook up the PSP to your PS3 and you can play it using the PS3 controller, all the while having your data saved still on the PSP memory stick.

I can ramble on and on about the many more cool things you can find in this game, but I'll just have to give the floor to Sam Thomson. Don't forget, Resistance: Retribution comes out March 17. You have to get that game; Sam insists.
