thank you so much for this great EMu
Pwnage. Good stuff
NJ is a beast
Pitty application.
Am sad that this is the last version.
:(
I believe I have the second one that he released and never have updated becuase I didn't want to re-do all the cach again. I felt that the alpha/beta version I had ran really well. Does this require you to re-do the cache files again? That takes a long time to do.
Cache files are needed only in CPS2 emulator, this is CPS1 and it's worth the download because it works better and there is save/load option.
Thanks NJ for the best emulator for the PSP!
SNK Vs Capcom anyone??
Neogeo souce is released, so finally looks liike we''ll be able to play some if someone is willing to code that thing >_>
Does this mean no more CPS2 updates?
NJ said CPS2 emu is still under development...
how do u use the save function? im playing forgotten worlds.........and all i can do it press R and L to move the guy and square to shoot......how do i save and or screenshot?
to use save function sg..u have to press start and select at the same time to go to menu..then press R to get to the save area..and there it will be! +)
thank you nj for one of the best emulators available imo. it has never left my psp once put on the memstick.
without you who could play cadillacs and dinosaurs ur the best developer that the psp scene has met. the neogeo is so awsome i wish better speed for the metal slugs and wifi network play can be done by someone because that would be great. your emulators are the greatest.
I havent tried CPS1 yet but I guess since this is a final release Ill try it out. Im in love with his CPS2 emulator and I hope he can release an update soon with more compatability, a bit more speed, and any bugs that I havent come across.
i was hopin NJ stop releasing this until he added the Lan-Play in it.......
-CPS1 (i wish there was a lan-play)
-CPS2 (only one more hope of the Lan-Play for this Emu)
Thanks mang! solid emu.
NJ, you are the MAN!!
Dang, this emulator runs flawlessly!!
Thank you so much for your great emulator!!
"Neo-Geo is a cartridge-based arcade and home video game system from SNK noted for its colorful 2D graphics and high-quality sound. A major platform in the 1990s, the arcade and home systems were made obsolete by Capcom's CPS-2."
Who wrote this? On what planet was Neo Geo ever inferior to CPS2? CPS2 couldn't even do scaling. Find me a CPS2 game that's as animated and colorful as Last Blade 2 or Mark of the Wolves. (The VS games come close, but that's all they do..)
"....A major platform in the 1990s, the arcade and home systems were made obsolete by Capcom's CPS-2."
CPS-1 was out for sometime before the cps-2, but to say that neo-geo was outdone by cps-2? I doubt it, but I know for sure that the Neo-Geo home version was an absolute insane price for a console. 200+ US dollars for a single game and 600 US for the system.
Last version took out support for quite a few import/hacked games such as SFII:Rainbow Edition Set1, and Set2, Black Belt Edition, a few others... which was a major dissapointment to the arcade faithful.
So I have kept both versions for the save state functions. Version Beta 3 of his emulator plays these classic hacked boards if you want to grab it as well.
Peace
hopefully he fixed that, or will.
man do the people at QJ got their heads up their ass for the past 2 decades!!! to say that the cps-2 board made the neo geo obsolete is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. cps-2 is a fantastic board, dont get me wrong. we got classic capcom games out of that. put in no way did it make neo-geo obsolete. i know for a fact that all the classic games we played on neogeo:all KOF series, last blades 1&2,Samurai shodown series, fatal fury series, cmon Metal Slug series,etc....all these arcade games had exceptional animation and gameplay,to eventually become classics to most,if not, some. people tend to forget that neo-geo has been around when CPS-1 was around. of course when capcom decided to step their games up,they also stepped up the board,aka,cps-2. cps-2 created classics as well, SFZ series, the marvel Vs series.but snk stayed with the same exact board for almost 15 years!!!! they just pumped up the cart sizes and made excellent fighters. dont ever say cps-2 made neo geo obsolete!! SNk been using a damn obsolete board for 15 yrs and still kicks ass. Mark of the Wolves anyone!!!
Definitely one of the best emulators available. Thanks for your great work. Neo Geo btw was still going strong into the new millenium so it was outdated by anyone.
