A new build is out for CWCheat from PSP homebrew developer weltall. This update now brings the program up to version 0.2.2 REV. C.If you aren't familiar with CWCheat, it's a program that lets you cheat in certain games. It lets you use cheat codes like Gameshark and Xploder. You can also download an existing database of cheats for the program online. In this update, weltall removed some of the changes made in REV. B because they caused some regressions in the program. Don't forget to read the documentation included in the download archive for more information on the program. Here's the changelog for CWCheat version 0.2.2 REV. C. from the program's website:

am i the only person who was misled by what qj posted on the front page: "This build includes a new feature that lets you automatically download the cheat database via Wi-Fi. Check out the changelog in the full article."
i have been trying to figure out how to do this within cwcheat and have been unsuccessful. this would be the point when i ask you to help me with my problem. i just went straight to the source and started an irc pm with weltall. here's the 3 line conversation:
[9:52] (spiderfan00) weltall: how do you download a new database for cwcheat? (within cwcheat itself)
[1:13] (weltall) there is no such function as it isn't possible without breaking compatibility. blame qj.net news which are misleading
[1:15] (weltall) there is an external application to do that

» Umm....
Ok... I'm not sure if I even come close to believing a conversation as that when there is apparently a 3 hour and 20 minute gap in the conversation.
Wether what is stated is true or not... if it was... don't you think Weltall would of corrected QJ.net himself and had them rectify their article on it?
Since that's not happened it's either not true, I've not yet used the new version but will soon so I haven't seen for myself yet, or Weltall simply doesn't care if a third party misrepresents his product or not. In which case, that doesn't speak well of him.

» well...
i skipped a line but i probably should have posted it.
"[10:01] (spiderfan00) im just gonna leave the window open, respond when you have a minute"
i left my computer on all night just to get that. i thought that this line was unneeded. if you would like a screenshoot of the actual conversation, here it is: http://i26.tinypic.com/214qlug.jpg

I was talking some time ago with him too (it was when I was translating cwcheat into polish) and I believe, that he's not doing it by himself, because he's too busy to correct every page posting news about cwcheat. Don't you think that he has his own life too?
