Ready to kick some vampire ass?

Castlevania: the Dracula X Chronicles will include Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and a 3D remake of its predecessor, Dracula X: Rondo of Blood. Symphony didn't get a face lift just as the port of Rondo of Blood did. This is set for a release on fall of this year.

Well, here's some screenshots showing our intrepid hero, Richter Belmont, how to get rid of dragons, huge Frankenstein look-alikes and the generic skeletons. Stay tuned for more info about this compilation from Konami.

Whats the difference between the Saturn version of SoTH and Playstation version??

 » Saturn version

The Saturn release of Symphony (or Nocturne in the Moonlight, as it was called in Japan) has a couple of extra areas, some new items, and (most significantly) you could play as Maria Renard, who had a variety of magical attacks.

Like Richter (who was also available right from the start, no need to unlock him like on PS1), her game didn't really have a story, but was a pretty good bonus.

I doubt Konami will ever release another version with her playable, but if they do, a 10th Anniversary Edition would be the perfect time.

 » Finally!

Thank You Konami! I've always wanted a remake or port of Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. I thought that Konami would have had a port of SOTN before now but at least it finally got here.

» handheld deal of the year

Damn, both on one UMD. What a shocker. Here I was all bummed out XBLA was getting SotN and it's coming out on the PSP too. I bet all the eBayers are pissed now that their Rondo disc value went down a few notches.

Who wants to bet this comes out before Metal Slug Anthology? Seriously, SNK, get the lead out of your ass.

Ive been asking for this since I got my psp i feared they would release it for the emulator. By the way ***** the emulator and ***** sony for making it only usable through the god damned ps3, thats dirty way to stand by your psp owners. And dido to the comment about metal slug above how long ago was that game supposed to come out. I dont even care anymore, I was excited at first, I looked at sonys website to see what the release date was now and they have removed it from their site ??? I give up
