Chart Track UK Top 40 software sales: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has debuted at the top - Image 1So much anticipation has been building for the released of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Due to this, the game has been catapulted to a stellar position in the Chart Track UK sales.

The game has debuted and definitely sped through the rest of its competition and is now enjoying the top spot, knocking off some major competitors down below. This particular chart includes sales up to March 29, 2008.

It's definitely one of the fastest selling games for Sony's PlayStation 3. In fact, it's the 19th best-selling title for the next-gen console.

Aside from this fantastic feat, a few games have manged to reach the top 40 list. The one below is the shortlist of the chart track:

  3. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS)

I am really starting to look forward to this game. I wonder how many cars and tracks are in it, I haven't had the time to research it yet. I also wonder how the customization is as well. The other Gran Turismo games had a decent selection.

you ca find out everything you want to know, and more, at a website if you search 'gtplanet'. I am tempted to purchase a PS3 and Logitech G25 now just for prologue. For rabid turismo purists this game could not have come sooner.
