First off, if you hate spoilers, you have no business reading the succeeding paragraphs. Just back away from this one, read another QJ article and be completely happy playing this nice title. Skipping this one won't ruin your life, we assure you.
Still reading? Don't say we didn't warn you. If you haven't bought The Simpsons yet but are planning to, you'll either be real happy or real pissed with what you'll find out. This is your last chance to back off. Destructoid reports that EA gave them a spoiler of sorts regarding this title. It turns out that there's a Wolfenstein level hidden in the game which can be unlocked. For the uninitiated, Castle Wolfenstein was one of the fathers of FPS and is certainly an icon of modern gaming. Destructoid explains "in the Medal of Homer stage, Bart and Homie are hired to steal white flags from a town trying to surrender so that they can get firebombed. However, if you put your chores aside and transform into Bartman and fly across the channel you can snake around an abandoned warehouse and find the hidden area. Smash a few boxes out of your way and you'll find a door to Duffenstein, a replica of the great old-school FPS Castle Wolfenstein." So there you have it. If you feel like revisiting the old school, The Simpsons will give you a chance to get some nostalgic treats. Otherwise, just enjoy the game and the nice movie, too. The Simpsons is available on Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP owners everywhere. |

Here's a pretty cool deal. The PSP title Guilty Gear Judgment, ARC System Works and Majesco's handheld iteration in the popular fighting series, is now going for a mere US$ 13 at Circuit City.Of course, keep in mind that that's the base price. The game's not available for in-store pickup, so interested gamers will have to get it shipped for about US$ 4, depending on where it has to be shipped to. Anyway, Guilty Gear Judgment's been out in the U.S. and Japan since last year, but in case you haven't tried it out yet, here's a run-down of the game's features:

Our intrepid internet hamsters manage to find some pretty interesting stuff over the internet. Recently, they uncovered some additional tips and tricks for people struggling with Crush, Zoe Mode's multi-dimensional puzzler for the PSP.
In this case, JIMMYs has video walkthroughs for each of the first 19 stages of the game, featuring 100% completion for the stages mentioned. Despite using a German language for the game interface, it's still a simple matter to follow each of his actions, since it's a matter of copying his gameplay actions rather than listening to a German language walkthrough. As a sampler, here's JIMMYs' walkthrough for the 19th level. Enjoy! |

Even though Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories has been released for some time now, the video game still hasn't lost its charm, and we guess it never will. After all, there are many ways to improve the title by modifying some features here and there. The latest one we covered was .IMG Extractor Beta v1.0.1 from Dustcrazy. We have a new one for you today, courtesy of homebrew developer Durka Durka Mahn. There are three new cheat modifications for GTA: VCS and take note that all of these are coded in PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor). Durka Durka Mahn also mentioned that these cheat codes were created with the help of another coder named Waterbottle. Ready or not, here we come! Clicking on the title of the cheat will take to the PHP page for each.

Looks like PSP fans can get their tanks for free on some of the more recent firmwares. Freeplay gave us word of his unofficial upgrade for for the Liberty City Stories Cheat Device. This version should allow you to use the cheat device on different firmwares, from 2.00 to 3.03. Here's what he told us: I hacked version 1.0d of the LCS cheat device so that it uses save slot #9, which makes the exploit work on firmwares 2.71 through 3.03. This should make it possible to run the cheat device on all firmwares from 2.00 through 3.03. I've tested it on 2.00, 2.71, and 3.03, and it works on all of those. For some reason, 2.70 didn't work. It works just like Edison Carter's original cheat device, so there shouldn't be any troubles with implementing the different cheats, much less installing it. Still, make sure you check the documentation so you can avoid any problems, alright? Download: GTA LCS Cheat Device for FW2.00-3.03 |

So you have 3.02 OE-B out now with a video of it in action and a few hundred satisfied members of the homebrew community. What do you do to add to the frenzy? Simple: You come up with a new version of CWCHEAT that works with 3.02 OE-B and its extremely useful new ability to run PSX games. That's what CWCHEAT v.0.1.6 Rev. C for POPS is all about. It's a very long name, but it extends the functions of CWCHEAT, allowing users to input cheat codes on the PSX games they're emulating on their handheld. Weltall made some changes specific to using it with 3.02 OE-B, and even added a cheat code conversion tutorial for those who are interested in getting some unlimited ammo. In any case, below are the pertinent changes. We're not sure what the third point below means, but if it disables game input, it's definitely something to watch out for. Be sure you look through the readme file (README-302OE, the other one's in Italian) before installing it so you don't make a mess inside your PSP while trying to emulate it. Again, this is a great time for homebrew, so let's make the most out of it. Enjoy!

We're pretty sure you're fully enjoying your fresh copies of Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. But wait, there seems to be certain stuff that require passwords...Hmmm...what to do? Oh, lookie here! There appears to be quite a list of--what are those? Passwords? Well, what do you know! You guys are certainly in luck today! Yep, those are most definitely codes for Portable Ops. You can also go to this link, which just happens to be the original one for majority, if not all, of the unique characters in the game. Anyways, hope you find this useful! ![]()
