i have to say now: "OMG i'm first!!!!"
but I don't because that's really stupid
nice work
Ahman is my hero....
i luv irshell
Nice... Cant wait to try this :)
--------------------------------------
PSP: 2.80 TA-082
I'm now waiting to downgrade my psp...
Hope santa grants my wish and all those in the same boat...
Here's a list of what I wanna do...Best for TA-082?
1)Downgrade to 2.71 TA-082(Hoping it happens)
2)Install HEN-D
3)Install Devhook
4)Install Ir-Shell
Future correct thing to do for a TA-082 psp?
Did I miss out anything?
Future TA-082 3.02 OE?
me love IrShell, use it instead of the psp xmb, 1.50 D-A costum firmware and irshell autoboot :D
thats a long Christmas list. I doubt that it will happen this Christmas but its something to look for for next Christmas.
BTW THANKS FOR THE NEW IR SHELL
Too bad I just *****ing upgraded to 3.02 OE-A
irshell 3 loads for me. usbhost works. but its plugins dont. everything else seems to work though.. gonna try this now
This work on 3.02 oea?
Can't you read?
"For those who are asking, here's a note from AhMan himself: iR Shell 3.1 supports firmware 1.5, 2.71 with HenD, Dark_Alex's 2.71 SEC, devhook firmware 1.5/2.71 emulation."
there's 2 versions of irshell. one for 1.5 kernel and one for 2.71. both versions work with 2.71 SEC but only 1.5 works with 3.02 OEA.
so if you upgraded you lost the 2.71 features:
-No PMP and LUA plugins (it has PMP-AVC however)
-No Infrared Remote Control
-No Adhoc NetHostFS
-ISO plugin for Dark_Alex 2.71 SE-C (by StoneCut)
-Launch XMB will launches FW 2.71 XMB which allows MP4 & AVC playback host redirection
-iR Shell MP3 Player will still be available after launching XMB. You can use both iR Shell MP3 player & XMB Music player simultaneously.
-Launch DevHook can use 271F folder for flash emulation
in the readme of the 3.02 oe-a firmware, it said that irshell and psplink can be easily ported by there authors to work in the OE-a.
is this false now or what?
I tested this on 3.02 OE about an hour ago
it does NOT work on it.
The 1.50 version still works, but htat uses 1.50 kernel :(.
We have to wait for a bugfix for 3.02 oe.
I hope he can do it soon

guess we're gonna have to wait for OE edition then :p
I agree.
Even tho I did now I where goeing to loose these features when I upgraded.
Blame Sony.
Always the easiest. :D

You better prey that someone makes a downgrader. At the moment you can't download and play homebrew games/apps.
hey how can i make nethost work? i really wanna run isos with nethost. some1 plz!
iR SHell for 1.5 has all these things you just mentioned. This was basiclly what the 3.1 upgrade was for :,
-No PMP and LUA plugins (it has PMP-AVC however)
-No Infrared Remote Control
-No Adhoc NetHostFS(not sure bout this one?)
-ISO plugin for Dark_Alex 2.71 SE-C (by StoneCut)
I'm struggling to understand why one with 3.02OE would still want iR Shell... unless they really hated the XMB interface.
Just put this on autoboot on my OE PSP, realised that apart from playing mp3s whilst playing games (it CAN do that, right?) it has pretty much no use to me and is less slick than the XMB.
I'm not ragging on the software, I'm sure it's pretty useful if you have 1.5/SEs, but now OE users have no need for Devhook, is this product now just a skin with nethost and PMP playback built in?
And nethost, can I use that to access my PC from a remote access point? Because if not, I'm not getting its use...
Sorry if this post was overly critical, just that there's so many PSP apps that are nigh on pointless, and I'd like someone to explain to me why this shell isn't. I mean, no one actually uses their PSP as a remote control, do they? Find me this person so I can hit them, with a real remote control.
I'd use my psp as an infared remote just the pointless fun of it and to impress my mates. :D (Please dont come and hit me)
I hate this, f*ck AhMan, I wish he would have stayed retired...F*ck this $hit...I hope AhMan dies!
AhMan you're like TuPac your retired and still turnin out the stuff
Everything works fine for me with 3.02 OE-B and iR Shell 3.1...
I just had to fix the irsmp3.prx with that from the dl archive at qj.net and disable the capture.prx in VSH
what folder did you put the 2.71 version of iR Shell in? Cause I have mine in GAME271 and it doesn't work.
No nethostfs, one of the best features, which allows me to stream music, photos and video from my Asus WL-HDD, does not work.
