It's official: Sid Meier's Civilization is finally reaching out to consoles and handhelds from its roots on the PC. For those who've been living in some uncivilized, backwater planet, this is the timeless classic that sucked gamers in to spend hours on end. It's one of those "just one more turn..." turn-based strategy games that gave people sleepless nights thanks to the virtual nation they have to manage.

If you missed the announcement, Civilization Revolution promises to be true to its name - taking the franchise to an entirely new direction. We won't be shooting aliens FPS style, or jumping around platforms, but the latest installment will deliver intense combat and constant action among other things.

Still not warmed up? Let us serve you a smoking hot debut trailer to awaken your senses. In it, we see a montage of the various eras you'd go through in the game. Explore, lead, rule...

I never stated anywhere that I wanted the game to come out soon or now, I don't like it developers rush their products.
