Zx-81 is letting everybody know that PSPYape Commodore Plus/4 has been updated to version 1.03. This PSP-based emulator was originally written for Windows and Unix, and as the name implies, allows your portable to play Commodore Plus/4 games - credit goes Attila Grósz for this app's original coding. Going into into detail, this version now runs on the same PSP GPU update he's also placed in his PSP7800 and PSPMSX emulators. Changelog:

Fast forward to today, and zx-81 announces the release of v1.0.2 for Yape. The original Yape was created by Attila Grósz, with updating and porting done by zx-81, the man. Zx-81 has been dishing out a ton of updates to numerous emulators in the past week, all of which are well worth the download. He just stopped by our forums to inform us of his most recent release, PSPYape. I'm really not an emulation fan myself when it comes to ancient keyboard-based systems, but I think I might just check this one out since Zx-81 states that Yape is the best Commodore Plus emulator on the PC, and this port is no exception to that great quality! Yape has been developed by Attila Grósz and ported to the PSP by the porting, and updating-guru Zx-81. This version is a port of Yape v0.32.4 and looks to be the best CP emulator out for the PSP right now! Here's a list of instructions on how to install this emulator -

Christophe has updated his one and only Commodore 64 emulator for the PSP, PSPVice to version 1.0 today. PSPVice is based upon PS2Vice made by Rami Rasanen. Possibly the most noticeable update is that the full list of compatible Vice games are now compatible with PSPVice, which Christophe describes as "huuuge". Check out the changelog to see what else is new: Download: [PSPVice v1.0] |

It has been quite a while since
we have heard from Christophe and his Commodore 64 Emulator...well now he is back
with an update to the PSP Vice, bangin' out with v0.4 Beta WIP (Work In Progress) C64 Emulator. The C64
Emulator for the PSP v0.4 Beta2 is out now. The Commodore 64 was initially released in 1982, becoming one of the hottest computer models of all times and holding approximately 10,000 software titles under its belt. Here's a complete list of
what is going on with this one:Usage : -CROSS : Fire -SQUARE : "Space" Key -CIRCLE : "Enter" Key -ARROWS : Joystick (use "swap joystick" in menu if needed) -Analog Stick : Joystick (better than arrows for diagonals) -TRIANGLE : Display virtual keyboard. Analog stick to move cursor. -When keyboard is on : CROSS : Press key, SQUARE : Hold shift, CIRCLE : Hold CTRL -START : Pause -SELECT : MENU -L : Quick Snapshot save -R : Quick Snapshot load Current Wishlist : - Assign a keyboard key on unused pad keys (circle and square), like "space" and "enter". Useful keys : Run/stop - Remove corrupted icon (do not hardcode the emu path) - Bug : "Load error" appear often. Same error on WinVice with "True drive emulation on" - Key mapping : Triangle - Keyboard on/off Square - Keyboard/Joy Hotkey 1 (set in menu) Circle - Keyboard/Joy Hotkey 2 (set in menu) Start + Select - Reset C64 - Add autofire - Add a small intro during dark screen at beginning - Optimise a bit to have less slow down (PSP sound function is taking lot of time) Maybe : - For info text display in menu, read multiples names (name & name) and put them on 2 lines - When "shift" is pressed display "shifted keyboard" ==> Ok but need GFX. someone can do this ? - "Swap joystick" mapped on a shortcut (which one ?) - When saving, tell if slot are already used or free (display date) (==> No. useless) - Manage subdirectories into game directory (user can sort games) ==> Too much work Note : PSP can not currently support warpmode (not far from 100% in warpmode).
