If you feel like cleaning your PSP's pipes (figuratively speaking), then developer Smokescreen has just the application for you. Config Cleaner v2.00 features is a nifty homebrew app which allows you to backup your handheld's registry and even clean up your config.se found in your flash1 Flash Memory slot.

The application has four distinct options upon running it:

Clean Config.se:
  • Deletes config.se in flash1
Backup Registry:
  • This backs up registry files from flash1 to ms0:/CC_BACKUP (Networksettings, Username....)
Restore Registry:
  • This restores registry files from ms0:/CC_BACKUP
Format Flash1:
  • Deletes all files in flash1
As you may have noticed, you have to be very careful when using this app as you may end up accidentally deleting some essential system files on your PSP. Make sure to take a look at the instructions the developer has included in the source link below or in the included readme.
