Special events like the Game Developers Conference 2008 aren't just for talks; they're venues for film viewing as well. Case in point: Square Enix recently revealed a gameplay video of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7.

It showed Zack acting as a gatecrashing decoy for his teammate, Angeal. While the demonstration of the battle system itself was enlightening, the most interesting aspect of the video was the character development that took place.

This happened during the conversation between Zack and Angeal, before the actual battle. Note the momentary ritual that Angeal performs with his buster sword; it also highlights what the weapon's real function for him is.

We won't keep you on the edge anymore, though. It's best if you see Square Enix's Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 video for yourselves right here:

 » AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH !!!!

The waiting is REALLY REALLY starting to be unbearable !!!
I've been waiting like forever !!!!!

It's real torture to see that there's been a JAP version out for SOOOO long already.
How I envy them...

Have to stay strong... have..to... Hold on...

 » Localization takes too long

I hope game developers lose a lot of revenue to piracy when they take 6 months to localize a game to a single other region.

Seriously.. this is 2008. Its a global world. Your game is available on the internet the day its released. We resist the urge to steal your product so we can give your our money for your efforts.

At least do your part and give us the option of paying for it as soon as we have the option of stealing it.

Well, almost. It's even worse when the games already released elsewhere in your language.

Thank god there's no region locks on the PSP though. Least I'll be able to import it from the US.

Games should be held off the shelves until they get the language for every region available that way games will be a worldwide release. I hate waiting for stuff like this.

Not like i can't control waiting i waited this far.

Great trailer to be honest.
