i'm guessing this is an rpg of sorts... is that true? do we know what the gameplay is like?
i always wanted to know about zack, i loved the whole 'back history' stuff of ff7, it was really well done. just think, there are so many characters who could pop up again... aeris for one.
do you think it will end at the death of zack? that would be really cool, visiting nibelheim etc... awesome.

you know what, i considered upgrading for the sake of mgs portable ops, gitaroo man lives, and of course ff7 crisis core... but i am actually more inclined to buy myself a new psp instead. there'll also be the ps3 connectivity, and ps1 emulator. psp is finally getting better.
still, you can't beat the homebrew scene, there is so much good homebrew i couldn't possibly upgrade.

You get a life if you'd rather contribute to FF sales rather than copy a game and criple its sales. Its funnly how PSP and DS are doing equally good but there is hardly any PSP games in the top ten while DS consistently has a game in the top ten.
This is the moment when PSP can thrash DS sales with MGS/FF and we need to at least adverstise by it topping the software sales

Holy hell, I cannot believe how horrible this is looking.
Thank god that at least they aren't screwing around with the orginal Final Fantasy 7. At least I can play that game, and it's still the same good game that it was without this awful looking "Compilation of Final Fantasy 7" crap coming along and disgracing one of the best RPG's there is.
I mean holy crap... Advent Children was pretentious, recycled, badly written, gibberingly uninspired crap, Dirge Of Cerebus is shaping up to be a crappy first person shooter that seems lamer than Shadow The Hedgehog, there's some crappy ass cell phone game. (Who wants a Cell phone game?!?) and now this... THING.
Awful. I won't be wasting my money on this atrocity. I learned my lesson after buying that godawful Advent Children crap. STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL GAME AND IGNORE THIS CRAP. SQUARE IS SELLING OUT FF7, TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND TURNING IT INTO CRAP.

About the cell phone game it's called before crisis and tells the story of the turks. Cell phone's happen to be HUGE in Japan and creating a cell phone game is just an easy way to reach many people. They are also making a cell phone game for Final Fantasy Xiii.
#19 Izumi Kawanishi of Sony already stated that making homebrew on the PS3 will be open because of the Linux code. I'm not sure about the 3.0 psp though.

#22 i deeply agree with you cept for the fact that 7 was the best ff, (if any of these noobs played an ff previous to the release of the psx ff7 would be a joke).... it was a good rpg (empasis on was) now its just getting milked, sorta like the shipping anime to america trend (anime was good, but now its all generified) btw if i see another ssj4 sepheroth or another uchiha cloud imma f*ckin flip... anyways ff7=dbz (overrated japanese asscrap) i think im gonna wait for a fresh NEW idea to hit the market, till then i wish japan would stop sending us dinner scraps with bad voiceovers
