The developers behind the PlayStation Portable 3.95 GEN custom firmware have announced that a second version, aptly called 3.95 GEN-2, will be released tomorrow evening at around 12 midnight. In addition, the devs also mentioned that "there shouldn't be any delay this time."According to the post on the official website, the developers know about the issues that users have reported (and the subsequent downgrading of multiple users to 3.90 M33-3) so they're releasing an update to fix the problems. The updated version will be sporting the following improvements:

I'll keep my slim on 3.90M33-2. Every thing after that wasn't worth it. Hope fully if this is successful, I will update. But I can't execute any homebrew , use iR Shell, use snes, or use cxmb then forget it, I'll wait for DAX. Simple as that. History repeats itself and firmware that don't come from DAX tend to disappoint.

First off, many people have moved on to the slim model. Not everybody was able to get the first release Classic psp. keep this in mind and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I have a PSP Slim and I have no problems with running any homebrew, iso, prx.. My friend has also a one of the newer Phats and also runs everything. I guess it's up to a PSP model, but for me and my friend everything works like a charm.

I use a slim and a fat so lets get rid of the bull S**T. Second I didn't say that certain psp's are incapable, but instead that cfw 3.95 is incapable of executing home brew on slims. Get your facts straight or you will one day find your self in the grinder. today is not the day.

» @c74gta4smash
Stop the bull*****. Majority of the homebrews are working perfectly in 3.95 GEN slim. I got to agree that iR Shell, snes and CXMB is incompatible.
Unless you have at least tried running 3.95 GEN, keep your mouth shut.

To thexl ...lI used 3.95 GEN and It had next to none compatibility. They even stated this in the text file for 3.95 Gen.
To Bolec Learn your facts dumbass because the slogans are a brief summary of my report. My psp slim is an ice silver TA 085 V1 that was shipped with 3.60. Are you even using a slim dumbass. Ever thought about how sony ships psp's with different boards to divide the homebrew commune. It wouldn't surprise me.
FYI... Multiple psp's have been known to have different effects from home brew, but I guess your're too dumb along with your TA085 V2 board.

» who do you call a dumbass?
Hahah, I have a TA085 V1 board, I can easily create a Pandorra Battery and besides my battery is made in China, not in Japan. I bought my PSP in November 2007, the TA085 V2 "anti pandora battery" was announced a bit later, I'm sure about that. So before you start calling anybody a dumbass go educate yourself and sell your retarded PSP, because I believe it's only your PSP problem or you even did not test GEN firmware...

» Bolec is clearly retarded
BTW I got mine on September 27, 2007. There is no difference in the flash if we all use the same cfws idiot. So take your TA085V2 board, your japan batteries and your *****ed up brain and get the hell off QJ. If you reply to this comment, you're clearly too dumb to learn. Get your facts straight.

As I mentioned before you should go and educate yourself, because you don't know the simpliest things and you're just looking to get some attention in the internet, that's childish. Just read these 3 topics and look for the date of the post:
1. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/624064 - as you can see the date is February 2008.
2. http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t+105049 - as you can see the date is March 2008.
3. http://alek.dark-alex.org/?itemid+37 - the most important one, because I believe that D_A was one of the first people who discovered a new "anti pandora motherboard". The date of the news? January 2008. So before calling me a dumbass (as I said before) go and educate yourself and stop writing such stupid things here because there are many uneducated people like you who will think that you're right. If you're looking for person who should get out of QJ, just look in the mirror, because I'm not the one writing bull***** in here...

Sorry I didn't want to argue with him, but he was writing such a lies in every thread related to gen custom firmware that I had to react. It is just funny when somebody is trying to say to me that I have an anti pandora motherboard and that the inscription on my battery "made in china" is false and there should be "made in japan". Even funnier is that he doesn't even know that this particular motherboard was unavailable in the stores in September/November, but he's shouting like he is the wisest man in the world. This just makes me laugh all the time. :)

Once again you proved to be a dumb F**K for talking complete bull *****. You did not use this firmware. You sit on your ass and look the the next thing I say just so you can feel all high and mighty like the attention hog you are. I don't even know who you're talking to because this thread is over practically. Here's what i want you to do Jack @55. Install this from 3.95 Gen-1. That's it. Tell me how you like your iRShell, your cxmb or your SNES. Don't come back to this thread any more with your retarded psp.

Please emulate Bolec as a failed experiment who can't learn anything. He onlly feels that he is right and that everyone else is below him. He plays a childish game in which he will stalk your comments and then make a complete fool of himself for he does not even use homebrew. If he knew anything he would realise that the GEN firmwares are rather buggy and also no one get's the firmwares right on the first attempt. I'll have you know that he has no control for him self and will reply. If not, he has learned his lesson. Isn't that right BOLEC.

I think you're not the one who's gonna tell me when to stop the discussion. Now you prooved that you're just not responsible person. I gave you facts, links that are true and lead to the specific articles. I prooved to you, that you were wrong talking about that motherboard, but you can't just accept and face the truth, that you were wrong. You just keep attacking people, because you're still trying to have the last word. This last 2 comments were really stupid, because all you did was insulting me (yeah you gave up the motherboard topic because you had no more arguments). Look, I don't even use cxmb and IRShell, because the only firmware that irshell was running completely fine wasn't even 3.90m33, so I'm just gonna use Time Machine and boot it under 3.60m33 so I am sure that everything works correctly. SNES emulation? It is already improved in newer edition, anyway I played most of the games on original SNES, so there's no use for me to emulate it. Besides you're trying to tell that cxmb, irshell and snes emulator is the whole homebrew scene? Man, that's funny. So stop writing these things and convincing me that I did not installed gen cfw, because the only thing you're doing is making a fool of yourself. The only thing you're doing is keep on lying and that's the lamest thing in the world. I convinced you one time that you were wrong, you gave up and started looking for other way. This time I'm not gonna convince you, that you're wrong too, because I don't have a time to argue with kids. I did it one time and you showed me that you're not going to stop talking bull*****, that's why there's no point in keeping the discussion with you, because I could convince you 100 times that you were wrong but you will just keep doing your stupid work. See ya man :)

Get the hell out. Those links had references that could be edited, what does that tell me about your info. Not true when I have a friend who got his PSP a little later than me and got the
TA085 V2. It was shipped with 3.60. Don't try to correct me using long speeches on complete bull S**t. I used this firmware and gave my results to help guide people away from disadvantages. You show nothing but the fact that you don't care about homebrew so why have it available. Are you working for sony because that's what your S**T talk seems to come from. I will not be talking to a n00b like you who can't read and learn or just move on. Have a could life walking your self into traps when people are trying to help. How many mouse traps have you been falling in? The same amount as the bullS**T you speak. Try the firmware or shut the F**K UP. Sorry if I insulted you but my last comments were me apologising to everyone that had to hear your bullS**T and the other was me telling you to stop misleading people even though I know you're a complete @55hole. I'm ending this conversation for good as you only talk S**T to waste my time. Did you brick your fake @55 PSP, because you seem very unoccupied. Good bye sir and you don't have to comment again for I am not visiting this story anymore. Unlike you my psp works fine on 3.90M33-2. So good -bye for ever and post yet another Sh**ty comment for that is all you do. Have fun cause I'm not reading it.

"Those links had references that could be edited"
Mwahahah, especially the Alek's blog. I think your brain got edited. [lols] One thing I can finally agree with you. If your friend bought his PSP later than you, it must have been December 2007, because this was aroung the time when anti pandora motherboard came to shops. But that's the only thing you said and was correct :D

I think you formatted your brain (LOL!!!). I'm glad to see you finally realise what I've been telling you this the whole time. If your still to dumb to figure it out here it is. "RESULTS MAY VARY!!" Awww ya didn't know that? I gave you guidance on how I installed it. I even told you what firmware I updated from. It takes you 3 days and you still don't seem to get it. I'll forgive you because you seem like a good person. I'm glad to see this thing subside. My whole point all along was "RESULTS MAY VARY." what works for me may work differently to you. If their are motherbaords more patched than others, expect at least one to work homebrews slightly different. As I said before I'm one of those lucky ones to get my slim pretty close to launch. My friend unfortunantly got his in february. I hope you're one of the lucky ones too. Nice talking to ya. :)
