Cpasjuste has released the latest version of the Custom Firmware Extender, which is a set of plugins that gives your PSP a few extra features. Note that the Extender was designed for the PSP Slim, so some of the plugins won't work for the Phat. According to Cpasjuste, the VSH plugin will work for the Phat, but the game plugin won't. Here's the full set of features that the Custom Firmware Extender v3.0 offers. Be sure to go through the readme for more information on the plugin set.

i wont use this seeing i own a phat and couldnt care less about the majority of plugins, just video/stream/screenshot/music
however i have to congratulate the dev, simply for the fact that he took pride and made it very sleek looking, and restrained from using the debug text

does ANYONE remember team wildcard and there LE firmware except me? they were the pioneer's of in xmb recovery and costomization and im as for the sleek look mentioned in the comment above mine... this is the exact theme/ design of the LE xmb recovery menu. I must say this is a VERY impressive plugin. I just wish that team wildcard didnt get there source leaked and quit. They had a 100% full recovery menu like when you boot your psp and hold the right trigger ( some psp users now a-days are so spoiled with these pluggins they dont even know its there! lol) im talkin changing game kernel cpu speed and EVERYTHING without having to restart to aply changes or anything. those guys were the real deal and up until CFW 4.01 there recovery menu was always made into a plugin but ketchup (who was doing it) i guess decided to stop.. :( that recovery plugin is was kept me on 3.90 for quite some time. Im glad to see a very suitable replacement for that plugin. and if anybody for team wildcard is reading this... thanks for your amazing work! you still to date have made my favorite custom firmware!!

» just a little correction
team wildc*rd didnt split because of the leak
they came at a time when custom firmware was in a limbo.
Dark AleX was in a depression over sony and family deaths and was ready to quit.
team wildc*rd was formed to fill this void. then m33 came (later found to be DAX and math), the fact that custom firmware was continuing meant the job of wildc*rd was done
to fill the void that the uncertainity of DAX left

your history is a bit hazy buddy
wildc*rd never at any time pissed DAX off
they had DAX's full support from the start
he even gave them his 3.30oe code so they could cross reference the 3.40oe code they already had
then the 3.40oe code that wildc*rd had reversed was stolen and leaked
so they released LE earlier than they would of liked to in an effort to stop a DAX wannabe getting glory off code they worked hard to reverse
being this is the case
wildc*rd would of known DAX and math were m33 before anyone and stood down not only out of respect, but to stop the "this firmware is better blah blah blah" stuff
if DAX ever quit again i'm sure you'll see wildc*rd rise again
