There are many ways to customize one's Sony PlayStation Portable handheld console and most of those are via the homebrew scene. If you are fond of doing this, then maybe you might want to check out Pimp My Name R1 from seanpaul223.

Just like we mentioned, this particular program is useful for customizing some features and graphics of your Sony handheld. The coder further explained this over at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum:

Want a lot of customizations on your PSP? Pimp My Name can do that for you.You can define a five letter name using a visual keyboard and thus choose a type of tag. The name you have define will be printed in the custom style you've chosen.

To further demonstrate this ability, the coder shared a couple of screenshots for you guys (pictured above). Also, seanpaul223 mentioned as well that more features will be added in future versions such as music and graphics among others.

Pimp My Name R1 does come with its own Readme.txt file so be sure to read that first before doing anything to maximize the potential of this program.
