Many of you that have been around for a while will remember CybBlade from PSP-Dev as one of the pioneers who made homebrew on a 1.5 PSP without swapping memory sticks possible. CybBlade, along with Pawstick and Killer-X released the KXploit on June 22 at 6:50am PST, and made homebrew on 1.5 PSP’s Possible for everyone. Please give a moment of silence in honor of his passing. From 1Emulation: |

He's up in heaven playing with his golden PSP.
How selfless to work on such a project during his last days; days which he could have spent enjoying life for himself he gave to us, so that we in turn could have some fun.
Rest in peace, CybBlade. Your contributions will not soon be forgotten.
Oh man.. This is horrible
All I can say is I love you man. Rest in peace.. Sigh. I kinda know what his friends feel like. My dad had cancer, and my friends dad had cancer, and my bro's GF's mom had cancer, and my grandma has cancer. 2 of those people died, and one is dying. I know how hard it is to lose somebody close, and I hope CybBlade rests in peace and enhoys his afterlife.

Wow, this is really sad.
He shall be missed.
R.I.P.
Thanks for everything you've done.
CybBlade:
Tu legado sera recordado. Gracias por dedicar una parte de tu vida a la scene. Gracias por todo, ahora que ya estas "en el otro lado".
Gracias hermano y descansa en paz.

CybBlade:
Your legacy will be remembered. Thank you for dedicationg a part of your life to the scene. Thanks for everything, now that you are "on the other side".
Thank you brother and rest in peace.
Rest In Peace man
you will be missed by every1.
man is this a sad day for the homebrew scene
How wonderful that a man should be able to meet his end knowing that he has accomplished a great deed that has affected countless lives beyond his imagination.
I join in thanks to him for what he helped to give the PSP community. It was a gift of joy given selflessly. To some it may seem trivial, but to us who benefitted, it is a cornerstone.
How wonderful that a man struggling with his own mortality could find purpose beyond his own battle. I pray that it made his latter days more bearable.
May his soul rest in peace and may his family, friends, and loved ones receive great comfort in their hearts at what must be a very difficult time for them.
sad day from the scene. maybe in heaven he could come in someone's dream and tell them the exploit for 2.0 ! i pray for his family for there loss.
Rest In Peace CybBlade..
Thanks for your great contribution to the community..
Rest In peace homie! I am gonna smoke a blunt and poor out some liquor for you tonight! CYBLADE..Thanks for everything you gave us and especially the PSP xploit that allowed us to get great homebrew!!!
Truely a great man RIP.
Thank you CyBlade. I pray that you had a good life here and will rest in heaven eternally with our Lord.
i'm not usually good with this, so i thought this may be appropriate:
An Irish Funeral Prayer
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.
rest in peace CYBLADE, may he that they call HIM, hold you tight to his heart and share the warmth and love that you had shared with us.
SGM
very sad, parents, stay with god.
Oh my God, that's awful!
Rest in peace buddy - always know that you did amazing, amazing things for people all around the world.
Rest in peace man, you deserve a good rest, too bad you had to die to get it :(. We will all remember you as a legend who alloud us to play homebrew on our psps, you are truly brilliant.
We all are your biggest fans and your effort will not be forgotton, they will be expanded on and be made even better.
Rest in peace, CyBlade.
My best wishes to his friends, family and all.
However, I find it odd that this is put on PSPUpdates while other news/remembrance is not. Tomorrow, we celebrate the lives and courage of our soldiers in the US and Canada. People who risked their lives, lost their lives in some cases, and lost their friends, in an attempt to help out our country.

Rest in peace
Rest in peace dude...
You did a great thing for the homebrew scene and no one will ever forget it, You choose to spend your time developing stuff for the homebrew scene instead of spending it with your family, and for that we are all truly greatful.
Have a great time where ever you might be...
this is truly sad, We should all think highly of this man, he help us advance the PSP to new heights!
Rest in peace.
May he rest in peace. He's going somewhere good I bet, having accomplished a lot in life for many people. May the highest being guide him through eternity & back.
Sad day... Thanks for taking time out of your life to make gamers happy. You shall be rewarded outside the boundries of earth... My God bless his soul.
