DJ Max Portable for the Sony PSP is trying to create regional turf in Asia. The latest of its promotions was a live performance in Korea where sounds from the title were played to an eager audience. We have some pics to show you what went down in the Land of the Morning Calm. Have a look:

Judging from these shots, the event seems to have been well-attended and the crowd looks like they got into the act. With games, lights and sounds, everyone's bound to have a great night.

The West might have not fully caught on to the excitement of the game, but there's bound to be more gimmicks to showcase the game to a wider audience scale. The game is a nice blend of good music, nice visuals and smooth controls which are easy to learn but difficult to master especially when jamming with the game's toughest tracks.

 » This game is crack

I can't stop playing this game, I have played since part one a few months back and can finally just now begin to finish level 10 songs with 80% +

I whole-heartedly recommend this game to any music game fan, and even a few none music fans too... the game is THAT good.

 » The reason I bought a PSP

The first DJ Max Portable is the reason I bought a PSP in the first place, and the second game is even better. It is by far the best music game I've played (yes, I like it more than Guitar Hero). I wish I was at the concert, would have loved to rock out to Stalker, Midnight Blood, SQUEEZE or if they had some songs from the first game, Rock or Die, Lemonade, Blythe or NB Ranger (though the last two are in the second game as well).

Also, yes DJMax is an awesome awesome game, you wouldn't understand if you haven't tried it.
