1st out of `1000
great job i had no way of compiling it my self lol
finally some real quality homebrew news!!!
lookin good!
3 omfg ive been waiting for thisssss!!!
Finaly some updates worth looking at. Personally im sick of all the atari emulators spamming up pspu. Gonna try out this build on my psp to see how much faster it runs mario.
All hail n64 emulation on the psp!!
Thank You QJ.net for posting this exciting news. People should always rescept the authors and Jake, QJ.net staff.
THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!
Thanks for compiling this for us PSdonkey! I tried myself but I got several errors. i also see that mario64 now runs alot faster then it did in version R4. Thanks for you improvements to the source PSdonkey!
yess! ive been waiting for this!
whats the fps like while running around the castle in super mario 64? before it was like 5 but now what is it?
will it work on 2.6?
ok just tried at least 5 fps better on mario 64! nice
I just played StarFox64 and i completed the entire training course! Thanks PSdonkey for the compiling and the improvements to the code!
I had a 2.0 running this emu, and when i unzipped a zipped rom, it took like at most 20-30 sec
However, I downgraded to 1.5, and now when i unzip, it takes the longest time. I didn't even wait for it to finish unzipping. I counted and its like 32kb unzipped per 5 sec.
Is this supposed to happen?
Works on 2.6
amazing progress
Dont zip up the roms. Just place the rom as it is in the rom folder and it rums alot faster like that!
Awsome work. Theres deffinately a massive improvement in the framerate department.
I'm pretty sure that PSDonkey is the one making all the random positive comments, and I'm pretty sure that all he did was comile the source and nothing more
how you display FPS select doesn't do anything anymore
Rom - I dont zip up .v64 format roms, but if I have a .n64 format rom, it doesnt support it unzipped but it does see it when its zipped.
Btw great job, StrmnNrmn. Framerates are amazing.
And thanks to PSDonkey, for compiling it for us
Hey #20, give credit to people who deserves it. PSdonkey did all of us a big favor by compiling the source code for us. He also stated that he made some minor improvements to the source code as well to increase speed with the games. I do notice games play faster then they did before. Go read StrmnNrmn's blog and you will see what PSdonkey has posted over there.
#22, .n64 roms seem to work fine for me. Try renaming the .n64 roms to .v64 and dont zip them up. It should work better like that.
This thing is REALLY fast compared to the old version.
if this doesnt work there is aways the atari emulator;)
w00000000000000000000t!
I want an FPS number... anyone got one? once it gets to something like 15 FPS, which could be semi-playable. Nice job, but I'm still waiting until Strm releases HIS update. That'll be nice.
NICE!!!
I have been playing this for a while now and got it of another site yesterday. I would have emailed Pspupdates about this but they never give credit where it is due so as usual they were late. Dcemu also got this news before them and the thread is already quite long (yesterdays thread). Now back on topic, this pre-release is quite a bit faster than the R4 and I suggest everyone try out AeroGauge because the speed is amasing. Give it a try and you just might be very surprised trust me.
Mario64 run very good! And the graphics are exactly perfect!
this one is a big step up in speed, playing SM 64 and it is stuning. a question does this run in 333? cause i started it in IR shell on 333 mode and it seems faster but im not sure if its just me
