yeh thx too, btw, thx strmnrmn, u rock, hope this reach 100%!
woot!! 3rd post!!! yay!!!
yesssssss im fav emu is back
I was beginning to think that the N64 scene was going to die out. Finally some news on it. This homebrew emulator is taking more time than I would of guessed but I am appreciative that someone is taking the time to try to better it. Thanx for the update.. keep up the struggle to bring N64 to portable.
is ssb workin?
i know your getting there but canwe at least run it?
NICE!!!! Can't wait to try it out
settle down huh!!
Is there a speed update in this one? Just wondering.
Thanks for not quiting on us too, I appreciate it, me and hopefully the rest of the homebrew users.
The n64 was my favorite consol ever made. I still play and buy games for the thing. I am SO happy that daedalus isnt gone... this thing is prolly the main reason i will never upgrade past 2.71...
this piece of sh.it doesnt even run on 1.5
R to the OFL
fu daedalus
Yes... Yes it does.
No one can be this stupid. Hahaha.
Yes, they can.

lmao my god that guy is retarded beyond repair haha
Ya momma asked if she could lay me and i told her no because she was so old that, that little piece of shizy that she calls a ***** didn't even work anymoe.
I stand corrected. Haha!
ROFL LOL OMG WTF STFU!!!!!!!
does Super Mario 64 work faster now ?
this doesnt work, it doesnt even have the eboot.pbp to kxploit it, all it is is a daedalus folder withouth the % folder
problems problems help?
I'm getting the same problem....
Maybe the original Daedalus% folder will work :)
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!
you just use the original daedalus% folder from the last version r8 or whatever.
I USED THE ORIGINAL DAEDALUS FOLDER, BUT WHEN I GO TO LOAD GAME ON MY 1.5 PSP IT BOOTS THEN I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING GAME CANNOT BE LOADED
ASSISTANCE!!!1
prolly need 2 use kxploit, you can download that program here
when i tried to play dukem nukem it had white boxs
Has anyone tried using the kxploit program to MAKE a % folder? thats what your suposed to do.
Ill try it and see if i can get it working.
hey numbskulls ever realize wally only makes PATCHES!? yea, as in dl R8 and apply this over. and if it doesnt work on 1.5, its your fault you havent seen the light of 2.71 SE-C
2.71 SE-C is still not as perfect as 1.5. Idiot
Ok, I tried it, and I must say it's pretty damn good!
Games are still laggy and still no sound, but we're getting there guys!
Mario runs very well, but lacks of speed, while zelda lacks of speed big time and sometimes has problems with the text (At one point, it was writing "Teh" instead of the. Lol.)
When using Dark Alex's custom 2.7 version you can just put the daedalius folder in your Game directory as it also caters for v1.0 boots. (Gotta love Dark Alex). This also gets rid of thsoe annoying corrupted data icons.
does this work on kriek for 2.8
prob kause i loaded it in 2.71 that way.
First of all... TRY IT GOD DAMNIT! DONT ASK, JUST TRY IT!
Second... Yes.
You DONT need any previous version at all.
SImply download and use KXploit v.0.3, choose the eboot that comes with download, run prog, will install to psp, then take and COPY all the other files that is in download to the folder, NOT the % folder but the other one.
Now, with roms, i put super mario 64 .zip in roms folder and nothing worked, so i unziped it and it runs fine.
this is sweet but i wish it ran conker:( thats my favorite game. someone should make a port just for that. anyone up for the challenge?:)
Use the SeiPSPTool, or some other KXploit program. The pbp in the RAR is not "kxploited".
Yah, works perfectly fine.
I think i noticed a way to make it run a bit faster.
Run devhook, choose any iso or umd and choose 1.50F, then choose 333mhz. Devhook will boot back into XMB, and since your STILL under 1.50, you can run the emulator, but only in 333mhz. it seems to have givin me about a 5% + speed.
Naw, emulators like Daedalus usually always run on 333mhz. So booting Devhook doesnt change a bit.
Running the PSP at 333 will reduce battery life. I've stated before, can someone tell me if this is true. When you check your PSP's battery life at 100%, it says 7 hours roughly. If you dim the brightness down to level 1, it goes to 8 hours, and if you turn your sound off, it goes to 8:15 or somewhere around there. But the moment you run your UMD game, the hours drop down to about 3 and a half since it has to spin the UMD. Does running homebrew (Such as a PSX Emulator, N64 emulator, ect) make the hours stay at 7+ since it has no UMD to run? Or since it has to do other things it still drains life more as opposed to watching a video.
anything on Conker's Bad Fur day?
Too soon?
i wish but i dont think it works. too big of a rom i guess:( o well. someone should make a conker port!
i went from daedalus normal to this
AMAZINBG
i went from daedalus normal to this
AMAZINg
i went from normal daedalus to this
OMG MAN THE GRAPHIC PROBLEMS ARE ALMOST ALL GONE
All gone? not rly
but getting there, Thx StrmnNrmn + WallY!
Yah, i re-tested and the framerate was the same. i just got lucky and had a quick speed boost for that ONE time lol thought it was somthing else. lol.
But inmario 64, the FASTEST place i found was in the BACK of the castle, where all the boo's are outside. runs over 30 FPS. now if only the rest of the game would lol.
I have this idea though, and wanted to run it past you peoples first.
On PC, you can actually HACK any emulator to run fast. it doesnt take a genious, just when your frame rate drops, and when it raises, you hack and find out WHAT is making it change, and you HIGHER it. like i said, on pc, this method works fully, and you can make games run hyper speed. i guess if FORCES the emulator itself ot run faster. well, im pondering if this same thing in possible here. i will test it with the gpSP GBA emulator first, and if i get a speed gain, i will move on to other emus. psx emu would then be my next.
The only issue with this N64 emu, is i cant get my hack device to pop up while running the emu. unlike all other emus that i can.
Either way, if you are interested in helping me out with this, not just THIS emu, but any emu that lags, hit me up on www.OneHitGamer.com , My psp code creation site. i can teach you the basics if your a noob, and if your pro, lets tag team this beotch lol.
