Like I previously sated, if Sony updated as much as Dark_Alex then he would have some competition. Bravo Bellissima!
that Sony has a Q+A team for minor bugfixes right?
for every bug YOU find in the official firmware, there are a bunch you DON'T see because they already squashed it BEFORE allowing the update to come out.
DAX, as good as he is, is not a full Q+A team. so he'll get bugs here and there but not the time to fix them (or even find them) before releasing the firmware (or patch).
the only way for DAX to have a remotely BUGLESS release (quickly) is for him to only do ONE thing... convert the OFW to a CFW and NOTHING else... no recovery, no added features, NOTHING. but because he has done all these things, he has his own host of problems to deal with.
LOL, converting an OFW to a CFW directly and adding nothing else, makes it an... OFW... :D
The very essence of a CFW is to make changes to an OFW so that it's not as neutered as an OFW! :D
Also, if you want free cash (this really works), go to

You DO NOT need a credit card or anything.
just reading this part....."PSP SLIM): Added patches in nand ipl to allow Booster multiiplloader and TimeMachine iplloader to boot from nand." does it mean that the time machine is going to be released soon???? well one could always assume yes!
always christmas when da's around. thanks alex always the best
Thank you! ^_^
Anyone! Do i really need to download this new update? i have a psp slim
It takes less than 10 seconds... and it's even easier with the M33 Network Update feature...
DAX sux.
DAX is always releasing updates. SONY should do better. Why whould you say DAX suck StingBlah.
he just wants to annoy people i guess!
Why do you hate him so much?
Yes Im on 3.90 M33
You may brick if you update.
another update from our lord DAX.
I downloaded and installed. Nothing was affected from what I could see. All 3.xx brew is working without flaws so far.
orly? does ffvii work yet then, or do stick with 3.71-4?
Use the popsloader plugin for FF7.
yes it does work fine on my 3.90 M33-2
I need to get a Slim!
thanks dax.. u kick sonys ass man :D
Since the update I can no longer change which pops I am using by holding R when starting the PSX game. Also I noticed that Final Fantasy VII is unplayable during battles.
should have stayed with 3.80 m33
Does this fix the memory stick driver issue yet? I would like to move beyond 3.71 but not at the expense of performance.
I also noticed that some PSX games wont work now like Metal Gear Solid. I am using the slim
This fixed the Popsloader plugin not working on my slow Lexar 4gb stick. Works like a charm now. I'll be able to play any PSX game I want on 3.90 M33-2. Perfect firmware... I'll prolly stick with this one for quite a while.
i really apreciate your hard work AND the efforts of the homebrew CODERS. greetings from COLOMBIA you have a group of fans here also
KEEP IT UP THANKS
I can upgrade my PSP 3.71 M33-4 to 3.90 M33.
When upgrade this message come out:
The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear
to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFBO)
help pls....!! :(
Thank U very much...
I can't play Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon with M33 NO UMD mode on, i can play with this mode before update, hope the fix soon
Thx~
It seems since this update my popsloader just isnt working. I put a new PSX game on my card and it never asks me which pops to choose from. Parasite Eve, Metal Gear Solid, and FF7 do not work so far. I am using the orange 4gb Sandisk on a PSP slim. I wish I didnt update to M33-2
Thats why i dont update till i see or hear about the bug fixes. Im gladly to say that im on 3.80 M33-5 and lovin it...it has no problems with psx games or any other concernes. And to some of u out there..... dont be so quick to upgrade just because it's new....now you have problems...now for u it's all about pandora...i hope i didnt step on anyones toes but just thought i give my friendly advice.
You can update to 3.90 M33 without any problems. All of my PSX games worked great on that firmware. Its just M33-2 that screwed me. I am downgrading tomorrow back to 3.90 M33
For some people, it worked before the update... now it doesn't. However, for me, it didn't work before the update... now it does. I just tested it on both my memory sticks and the plugin works fine. Make sure you have the right one and that it didn't disable when you updated... I don't know.
I think that after I get my tax return I'll send a donation Dark Alex's way.
Hey,buddies,I can't run CSO games on PSP after I updated to 3.90M33-2,please help me,thanks very much.
First, sorry for my bad english...
I bought a MS Micro M2 8Gb and I am have a DUO adapter to use it on my PSP. I installed the CFW 3.90M33-2 to play my ISOs from this MS. When I copy more than 4Gb in the MS and put it back on the PSP, it doesn't show any data in the MS. When I put the MS back on my PC, all the data is corrupted and presented with strange chars. I already formatted my MS with the CFW but it doesn't resolve. Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
