amazing
NOT WORTHY
NOT WORTHY
I am working on an auto-install for this. That way noobs can just run the update on their PSP's without all the complicated steps. It makes the DXAR file from the eboots, and then puts it all in the right place on the PSP. I'll post it when it is done, and out of testing which is predicted to be about 8:30 tonight.
How do I uninstall Se-B" and what does loading modules mean? Please explain.
Hey, I needa someone to send me a copy of the DXAR file that is used to install SE-C i need it to base the code of the Auto-Install Program on. I'll give you partial credit for the program. Send it to: Brendan09@gmail.com
Would you rather eat a big juicy dripping ***** you *****ing *****?
I'm pretty sure you can't distribute those files legally. That is why you need to make your own from the 1.5/2.71 update. Just FYI.
DARK-ALEX SUCKS!!
robert for the oratory is a homosexuel
You are a d.i.c.k. learn how to spell its "homosexual" not "homosexuel"
Allow him, he's Mexican
It is rigth spelled in french lol !!
keep up the good work alex
Dark alex thanks for this release :D
does this fix the kernal access problem that halted valykre profile to play?
i can run valkyrie profile with SE-B". just run devhook, change the clock speed to 222,choose valkyrie to run as umd and it works.
HELL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how do u upgrade from 2.71 SE-B to 2.71 SE-C
Yea you have to flash-back to 1.5 using the recovery. THen use the Flasher to 2.71 SE-c!
I created the Data.dxar file, and updated from SE-B" to SE-C. There is no need to downgrade to 1.5 to get to SE-C. If you had read the Readme.txt, you would have known this.
*****
nice thx dark alex
can u do this with a version 2.71 psp
I dont know if there is an easyer way but you can by downgradding to 1.5 then u[grading to 2.7 se(place current version here)
can you upgrade to 2.71 SE-C from 2.71 SE-B? if so how?
Should i downgrade? Decisions, decisions!
I hope this and HEN D recieve many more updates :D
your QJ.NET Staff too :D
DERK ALEX EES SOOPAH SEXY!
is the only change :The ability to load modules from the memory stick.
What about loading isos on the xmb that are using usbhost?
and the built in overclocker?
I have an other question , what does this mean for me? that im able to load modules from the memorystick.I have no idea what it does.Seeing as it isn't an update and a lot more troublesome to install , why shouldnt I just keep using my 2.71 SE-B?
*****ing awesome!
read the damn readme then you will know how to update !!!!!!!!
ok how do u upgrade with 2.71 psp that has no homebrew installed just plain 2.71 firmware
its not opening the 150.PBP file...
you renamed it "150.PBP" its supposed to be "150"
duh... its supposed to be "150.PBP" if it can't open it then make sure you put it in the seupdatemaker folder(make sure it dont have the "%" at the end)
no! you're all *****ing idiots. if it's already a PBP file and you rename it 150.PBP it will essentially become 150.PBP.PBP
if you're gay and have default windows setup, yeah it would be .pbp.pbp. but if you disable the hide extentions for known file types in the folder options menu, it will show the extention. way to fail script kiddies.
Thanks for the tip!
Was using WinRar to rename.
AMAZING I LOVE U DARK_ALEX
UR MY IDOL!!!
lol but really this is amazing...thanks
"* Fixed a bug in the loading of big user prx's, that affected a plain prx of socom2 umd, and some homebrew prx's." - Not to sound like a dumbass but does this have anything to do w/ playing online?
cheers for the update alex but there is one small thing i'd like to say that this will probably only be useful for developer,as you can already install modules which are packaged as eboots.... i.e. the mp3 module which is great, but nonetheless alex will soon be challenging sony for update speed lol...and i bet he has better consumer service!
He makes better updates and I bet he does have better support.
lol
From The Readme:
If you are in a previous version of SE, simply copy the seupdmake, seupdmaker%, 271seflasher and 271seflasher% folders to
/PSP/GAME150 and follow the same instructions than when installing from 1.50.
If you are in a previous version of SE,
But which file?
DATA.DXAR ?
271.PBP and 150.PBP ?
Do you think that if i upgrade the frogram called 2.71 SE customizer will work on se-c? cuz i want to upgrade but if i do i will have to flash my psp gameboot and background again. SO im just wondering if this program is safe using se-c...Thanks
why cant we use the data.dxar that we used to install SE-A, or SE-B? aren't they they same file?
DOESNT WORK WITH SE-C!!!!!
A small fix will do.
its not the same file or else he wouldnt hav made us do it over
No, they aren't.
There is no different between 2.71SE-B'' and SE-C. :( I'm very disappoint.
But anyway thank you Alex! You are the BEST!
if it can load modules from the ms then... vcscheatdevice without flashing.
not worth the time to install should have waited for more to release but i guess good job....not
no there not the same file
if the same program uses the same 1.50 and 2.71 updates and form the same file... why are they any different?
after upgrading i can't play pspradio or psp revolution... looks like they start to run, but just dies with the logo on the screen
huh?? i just read this and go and test psp revolution and it works...maybe you have another problem.
yea im just gay
Hello gay person who tried to post as me.. don't know what else to do. i didn't have a previous SE installed, just followed these instructions here to install. Looks like everything went fine. I don't see anything in the README about if I have to create folders for 1.5 homebrew or something. Is that something you have to do? I didn't see anything about that anywhere. The PSP logo comes up, and then the light flashes as if it's reading the memory stick, and just stops there.
ok, thanks to all you helpful people, i figured it out. just had to put my 1.5 homebrew in to a GAME150 directory in PSP. Working fine now. This is nice. Thank you alex.
in the recovery menu configuration there's a game folder homebrew: (currently: 2.71 kernel) option, change that to 1.50 kernel and it will load them from the game folder. you can also hide corrupt icons here, since there's no reason not to.
Do u think its safe for me to upgarde because i have a flashed gameboot and a flashed background...did anyone do it like that???
yes i did worked
during the installaiton from 1.5 to se-c, the program will format the flash0 (to make a clean installation) b4 dumping the files into it.
I think I'll pass on this one as I don't use any supplementary modules. I was hoping for the built in speed selector but I guess we will have to wait for SED :)
Anyway kudos to Dark_Alex
Er... now you can load modules with overclocking featers.
