well in 3.40, the main thing added was the ability to play videos in higher resolution
not a big deal, but whatever for some it's important, not for me really though

3. there is no dev hook for it. (not that i use it)
and with them finding an official iso loader in the firmware maybe he can use less code in the oe and maybe put the location free player back....

Hmm hope Dax fixes the LOOONG available bug in running 2.71 elfs. I'm using 3.10OE-A because i can then run 2.71 Irshell. 2.71 Programs DON'T work on 3.40 OE-A because of some stupid error.

A security patch due to *Noobz is it?* finding an exploit within the firmware. Apart from the patch, nothing will be different or mean anything to anyone who already has 3.03-C or 3.40-A.

I don't worship him. It is manners to thank him for what he has and is doing. You could learn some manners your self. DS's are not my thing. I had one but didn;t enjoy it. If want a PSP, then so be. I like the fact that I can enjoy many consoles on one device. It also has a crappy Internet browser but that's okay aswell. You can't change peoples likes and dislikes by text on a screen. I've decided to cease OE development, and leave PSP scene.
The reasons are various.
One of them is the time it consumes, which i'm losing from other things.
The other is related to my security. I didn't like Sony menaces to PS3 hackers.
I think it is better to leave now rather than end paying the consequences.
He decidido cesar el desarrollo de OE, y abandonar la scene de la PSP.
Las razones son varias.
Una de ellas es el tiempo que me consume, que estoy perdiendo de otras cosas.
La otra esta relacionada con mi seguridad. No me gustaron las amenazas de Sony a los hackers de la PS3.
Creo que es mejor retirarse ahora que estoy a tiempo, que acabar pagando las consecuencias.

look when 3.51 came out at the end of the month what do u thoin k would happen dax sead he was goin to crack 3.51 and make an OE this is blowdows and corel all over agen. there must have been some sort of threat or leak to sony's CEO that made them threat Dax to a lvl where he would back off. think of it playing iso's unlocking the psp's cappabilities. look sony don't like the freeware world b/c some one ends up unlocking it to a level where copyright issues come to hand. like the m5 for the NDS and mod chips for the wii and magic swap for ps2. this is sonys way of bending us over with out letting us get a reach around. there will always be a custom FW there will always be exploiets and there will always be a way to do what we like to do. for retro gamers it be mame and nes and sega emulation. for some one that wants a start homebrew to get a start on makeing games for the psp and maybe in the future get a sponcer and start in the gameing indistry. who knows.
