can anyone help? i was screwing around with themes and accidentally erased the file in f0/fonts called gbw3-somthing and it is about 1,000kb and my configuration option in recovery mode just shows a blank screen, anyways went back to 1.5 then 3.4 oe again, still not working + file still missing. now at 3.03 oe-c and configure option still blank + file still missing. maybe i should borrow a psp to get the file

the modchip allows you to have 2 firmwares
also it can unbrick the PSP from a permanent brick forever, so nothing that has (use at your own risk) sentence scares you at all.

The Devolution isn't a modchip. It's a JTAG. All it does is allow you to write to the NAND through the existing USB, thus making you able to upgrade/downgrade without needing the PSP's firmware installer. If you brick your PSP, you connect a cable and reflash any firmware. No longer a brick.
