The PSP "Chotto Shot" (Quick Shot) Camera will be available on November 2nd, while the GPS receiver will be available for sale on December 7th, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced. The camera is equipped with a digital zoom, attached to the top center of the handheld. This enables users to shoot 1.3 megapixel photos and videos, and allows them to play games (in the same way as that of the Eyetoy). |

I might actually buy them :D
how does it work with hotshots golf?
how does the GPS work with hotshots golf?
All together for $99, dang that's too high!
For Hotshot Golf Open-Tee, GPS uses for Background, so you can play from where you are.
i cant wait to use this with 1.5....:D:D:D
The GPS is $54 but how much is it in EURO?
The GPS is cheaper then i expected. Maby beacose the psp will almost all the work and the gps is only a "antenna".
I would only really want the camera, but this will require a firmware upgrade :(. I remember reading something about the camera and gps files already being in 2.71 so could we somehow access them with devhook?
the camera is priced at 5000 Japanese yen = 33.4168076 Euro
and 6 000 Japanese yen = 40.1001692 Euro for the GPS.
how does the GPS work with hotshots golf?
Could we possibly use the GPS as a Wireless internet connection? I know that by using a Wi-Fi connection, We will be able to connect to our PS3's and stream Video, Music and "Supposedly" games. With this function in mind, What if we could access out Ps3's anywhere in the world? How awesome would it be that we would no longer have to use a MSPD to store data, But we could just Stream it from our PS3's VIA a Wireless connection (Through the GPS).
Just a thought......... :-(
bad is it not
a 1.3 megapixel camera is crap. i wont be buying the cam, but most likly the gps
i pressed refresh and it posted my old msg again =/ sowwy
I think sony will undoubtably will release a new firmware for both these products even though the existing components are in version 2.7 and higher because firmware 2.8 and down have already been hacked thorugh the kernal mode which will allow umd loaders in the future for these firmwares.
@11:
i believe u gotta learn some of the basics when it comes to gps positioning system.........
your idea is not going to happen.
US$52=£28,€40,6331.23 Yen,This is for the gps.
US$44=£23-€34-5157.46 Yen,This is for the cam.
the are the converted prices i think both r quite cheap.
i pressed refresh and it posted my old msg again =/ sowwy
what you said is already possible but you actually dont need the gps for it. its like the location free player
1.3 megapixel. who needs that crap.
wow thats a lot ill probably wait for the price to go down if people dont buy it and maybe ill buy it. but 40 bucks for a 1.3 is i think too much.
I thought the individiual price for both of them would be like $100, but now, it's $100 for both of them. Imma get both of them.
r u sure u dont have to upgrade?
anyoen else remember sony promising these 2 things for a september release dates? WTF HAPPENED!? i was actually excited sony was doing somethign good but now they just let me down yet again. DAMNIT!

The price is NOT high at all...I'm actually really glad the prices are so low. I was expecting over $200 altogether!
how will the gps maps software come? firmware upgrade or umd? will it be available with the reciever?
By UMD you'll have an UMD for every country
Let's hope 'Navigation Soft' is Sony's answer to TomTom :D
Wont it be possible to use this with a computer or something becuz both the cam and gps use mini-usb???? We just need drivers for the computer.
you can download coarses through the gps to use on hot shots golf
