Ó

Datel now accepting pre-orders for PSP 3000 Lite Blue hack tool - Image 1Datel's quick to turn a profit from their PSP-3000 "hack."

The Lite Blue hack tool, being marketed as the only PSP battery capable of putting the PSP-3000 into Service Mode, is now available for pre-orders at the Codejunkies site.

They're certainly confident of their hack, despite Alek's skepticism. They expect demand to be high, so they're encouraging pre-orders since orders will be dispatched in the order they are received.

The product is plugged as also being able to put the Slim into service mode. You can get your pre-order from the Codejunkies website for US$ 29.99. Or... you can wait for Dark AleX.

Thanks to Vexor for the heads up!

» why would you be stupid to buy this?

Do you have any evidence, any reason--any proof that it doesn't work?

Back on topic, what does this mean? that 5.0 m33 can be run on psp3000?

   Re: Torch - 2008-11-20
 » No..

All it does is start the PSP in service mode. You can't do anything with it since the pre-IPL is not cracked (just like the TA-088v3).

   Re: Portable - 2008-11-20
 » Yup

They suck cause they are trying to make a profit out of it xD, but 30 USD is not much and I wouldn't mind paying that. But i will wait for it to be released and then when people say it works and downgrades like the last article stated then I will buy a 3k and the battery.
@ du.der.icio.us >>BTW no the current pandoras battery dont work.
I wonder how this one will be able to downgrade without the MMS IPL crack.

 » No wonder they're confident.

Datel lies. Just like when they said the TOOL battery was ALL that was required to let a PSP run homebrew.

   Re: _YOUR_MOM_ - 2008-11-20
 » truth

It is true, well because you could run the downgrader which should be a homebrew.
   by Qowface - 2008-11-20
 » ...

The TOOL battery lets you run programs from the memory stick, so technically that's all you need to run homebrew...not in any convenient way though, so you still want a Magic Memory Stick to put some CFW on your PSP...Datel is kind of stretching the truth though...

Well, if this actually lets you flash a PSP-3000, I'll just wait for someone to figure out how it works and release a new MMS/Pandora maker...but I doubt that this battery will actually let you do anything on the 3000 and newer 2000's...

 » .........

i guess u are new to this stuff so a filler

the pspv3 is not hackable or being able to put into service mode cause of sony modding the heck out of the system hard ware and software wise the combination of the two prevents any battery to put into service mode! sony probably has a special battery for that or when a psp is sent to them they send back a new psp to the customer (no has tested that so idk)
