There's been a lot of speculation about Area 51 out at the Nevada desert. What the hell do they have in there? The same thing goes for corporate headquarters - secrets and conspiracies will always happen at the headquarters of any company or operations department. This time around, we get a good look at one of those "headquarters."

Here's a vid from T3 of the interior of some Sony office in London. We don't know what they do at this particular office, but for all intents and purposes, it seems as if it's one big game room. T3 simply describes it as a Sony playhouse, and fittingly so.

The whole place is bedecked by PS3s and PSPs in every nook and cranny that they could fit them in. There's even units in the bathroom! Heck, maybe they built more rooms and walls just for the sole purpose of cramming in another station to play on.

Call it a Sony palace. Call it a Sony shrine. Call it Sony nir-effin'-vana. I'd just simply dub it as "where I want to live in the future."

This kind of reminds me of all the PS3's sitting on the shelf at my local GameStop. There are about 10 of them. I guess no one wants them??

I almost hate sony. They make products that can make your dreams come true, if they worked past six months. Really, I love my sony headphones, but one ear, in the blue, stopped working one day. I had to trade in my ps2 and gamecube for...

as ps2. Really, my ps2 stopped playing guitar hero 2, it's only true purpose for me. This wasn't a gen1 ps2, it was about TWO YEARS OLD. BUt I still love it, because it plays great games, sony just needs more love in the hardware department.

Theyre probably not gonna bring a single tales game to the west on the psp, mark my words the psp is doomed. And regarding gran turismo mobile They stopped work on GT Mobile to work on that motorcycle racing game for PS-2, and when they were done, Kazunori Yamauchi actually had to ASK people whether or not they still wanted the game........bad sign....... And regarding squaresoft they are making offshoots to ps2 games and ps3 ff games on the ds, this shows what they think of the psp if they make sony spin off games on a nintendo handheld.

» I'm the biggest Sony fan

I have a PS1 and PS2 sitting on my media shelf, connected to a Sony 20" DVD/TV, with a Sony VCR from around 1980 that still works, my PSP charging next to them. I have a 1 GB Sony Walkman MP3 player, and a Sony Camcorder. I never intinded for this to happen, but Sony is cheaper than most other Brands, so I just grabbed what I could afford.

I think that you will find the average age of a DS gamer to be much higher than what you say it is - do you not see that Nintendo markets the DS at over 18s? You may be in the US, but in the UK, the DS Lite (and Wii) are marketed mainly at the over 18s, being advertised during shows which mainly adults watch, and appearing in magazines that the 25 to 35 age group read, as well as the Touch Generation games being marketed at over 50s. It maybe different in the US, but having visited North America twice this year, it seemed pretty much the same to me.

But, even if the AVERAGE DS gamer was 10, the market is not pushed by what 10 year olds want, as hardcore gamers and early adopters affect how a market moves, as well as the target demographic.

The problem is that until Sony get over this conception of "Nintendo = kids" and "Sony = adults", they have not got a chance of overtaking Nintendo in the handheld sector. Do you not see this?
