Well this was a long time in coming. The game's been out for some time in the U.S. (and around a week in Europe), but it seems the demo for Zipper Interactive and Sony's SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 has just been released.

The game pits your squad of Navy SEALs against all manner of terrorists and other assorted baddies. As with any game in the SOCOM series though, it's also about tactical placement of your forces to ensure victory against the enemy, as well as a liberal sprinkling of gunfire against enemy encampments.

The demo is 42 MB in size, so expect to spend a little time before you can try the game out. Still, if you're the type who insists on trying a game before buying it, the wait shouldn't be a problem. Enjoy!
