DevHook Launcher and VSHEX Mod v1.62b

DevHook UIIt seems like Chunglam has been pretty busy lately making improvements on his DevHook Launcher and VSHEX Mod. If this is the first time you're hearing about this mod, you've already missed a couple of good releases. But not to worry at all, because another great version of the mod is here.

This Chunglam creation, which allows you to "pimp" your DevHook Launcher, is currently in v1.62b. Changes in this new version are as follows:

Version 1.62b

  • Updated Chinese language file
  • Added firmware 1.50F config text file
  • Updated name macro "names1020.eng" by sanaell
  • Integrated Reconfigure eboot.pbp to Launcher folder(for using with emulated fw2.71 only, because it only work with HEN_C enabled)
  • Integrated Homebrew Enabler C for Devhook by Dark_AleX
  • Added Japanese language file
  • Updated all language files to fix errors on Flash Rom menu text, please re-select language to load the correct menu.
  • Integrated SVCapture by ADePSP, you need to edit "ms0:/dh/kd/capture.ini" to change capture keys.
Launcher
  • Added "AutoTheme" mode to Gameboot selector(for switching pmf video file only)
Vshexmod v1.21
  • Automatically change Gameboot video for "AutoTheme" Gameboot mode at startup.
  • Improved the increamental "Copy to MS" function
Version 1.62
  • Updated CW CHEAT to 0.1.4b
  • Included ISO/CSO name macro "names1009.eng" with 1009 disc IDs and names contributed by sanaell
Launcher
  • Added Auto Disc ID function under More Options. If enabled, disc ID will be automatically extracted and appended to ISO/CSO file name.
  • Added color scroll bar to Gameboot Theme selector
Vshexmod v1.19
  • Increased macro entry limit from 512 to 2048
  • Now you can put disc ID bracket at anywhere of ISO/CSO file name
  • Fixed increamental "Copy to MS" bug for CSO cache system
Umdcisomod.prx
  • Optimized the index recording logic for CSO cache system
The Launcher part of this mod includes all features of the original launcher plus multi-language support (Chinese, French, Spanish, German, and Italian) and integrated screenshot, CW Cheat, and Cheat Master module. If you do decide to download this marvel, installation is in four easy steps:
  1. Install firmware files by following the original DEVHOOK installation instruction.
  2. Sxtract and copy files inside folder "ms_root" to root of memory stick
  3. Files inside folder "fw1.00" are eboots for firmware 1.00 PSP
  4. Files inside folder "pctool" are tools for using in Windows.
By the way, Chunglam says that he "assumes no liability for any errors contained in the code" - so make sure you know exactly what you're doing before installation. And just to minimize the risks, don't forget to go over the readme and mini-faq texts included in the download. Have fun!

This new DevHook Launcher and VSHEX Mod v1.62b has some kind of bug w/it unable 2 run Xtreme Party.cso. i get an 8002012D error code The same w/v1.62a also i can't run Xtreme Party.cso on it. I even reformatted my MSPD card twice, just 2 install it cleanly. So i'm gonna stick w/the v1.62, cuz Xtreme Party works on that ver.

The inclusion of Homebrew Enabler Revision C for Devhook causes some incompatibility issue with some old or altered games. The solutions are
a. Use "runumd" or "mphgameloader" mode to run your games.
b. Add firmware 2.60 files and run these games using emulated fw2.60
c. Downgrade the HEN_C with HEN_B by copying HEN_B systemctrl_dh.prx from attached HEN.rar to "ms0:/dh/kd"
d. If your game still doesn't work, replace systemctrl_dh.prx with version inside NO_HEN folder from HEN.rar, please note this will lost extra functionality provided by HEN

sorry about the noob question but can this run on FW 2.6? or is it only for FW1.5? if thats the case is it better to upgrade to FW2.71 and get dark_alex's homebrew enabler to run homebrew apps?
