DevHook

Remember how we said that once developers get rolling they're like an update machine? Just like what happened last June 13, 2006 when v0.41b came out. After locating a bug on the their recent release at that time, they immediately worked their magic and hours later - v0.41c.

You've got to love Booster, now, they're releasing v0.41d, just after a couple of days since v0.41c. Here are the changes that were made translated by our very own Jeff C. Which he wouldn't have translated if Redbluefire hadn't given us the tip on this release. Much thanks to you both.
  • Fixed abnormal memory access when performing loadModule for 2.00/2.50
  • Some freezing situation may have also been improved.
  • "UMD Version" switch is available even when using the UMD.

Don't know if anyone else has found this already but I've just noticed that if your listening to your music when in the emulated firmware the headphone remote no longer works, not a single button, volume, play/track skip, they're all broke???

It helps. It's either that or while emulating putting the PSP into Standby and then putting the game in. (I read that the disc and laser are running as it's emulating, I don't know the truth to it but there is truth to the fact that YOU SHOULD NOT CHARGE WHILE EMULATING THE FIRMWARE)

   by steve_723 - 2006-06-15
 » You know what.

There should be a 2.6 firmware launcher that launches 1.5 so we could could use all homebrew now devhook do that. That would be interesting.

 » Serial Port

@4 and anyone else wondering about PSP headphone remote

I believe Booster said the headphone remote doesn't work because he has the same serial port set up to spit out debug info for him, and debug is still on in the binary in at least that respect.
